I like it overall, but there is definitely room for improvement, such as voice recognition. We should shorten the number of times we say "hey google" for everything. Alexa's use is much more seamless in this aspect. I use it in my living room, so I don't use all the bedtime or alarm features yet. Im looking to buy a second one for my bedroom now that it's on sale.

Love this thing. Got my family to buy 2 more for their rooms. It lets you cast shows to it and stuff using the chromecast button which is avalible in almost every streaming app. The speakers sound good. It even told me happy birthday.

We love the Nest Hub. We are Google device fans. We created a slide show of our Granddaughter that constantly scrolls our favorite pictures of her. We control many devices by voice that are linked to our Google Home app. Very few issues with it’s functionality. Any issue was quickly resolved by customer support team. Highly recommend.

Easy to set up and use. Have the Google Assistant throughout your house, it's great for looking up recipes if it's in the kitchen and you can use it as an alarm clock in a bedroom. Five stars.

Google Home has not let me down so far... comparing to other brands, Google Home really brings all your smart devices all together in one place. With routines, it makes things almost perfect!

[Employee of bestbuy] I love all of my Google products, but these nest hubs have been the best. They record my sleep so I can see if I am sleeping well, they are great alarm clocks, great to ask questions, and amazing for finding recipes.

A little bit smaller than I expected but it's definitely an upgrade from my last google speaker. I bought this to place in my kitchen and it's okay but I wish it were bigger, like the Hub Max. Also don't expect it to be snappy and quick like an iPad. I happened to get this on a BF sale and was okay with the smaller size. If you have a relatively large kitchen, you may want to go with the Hub Max, otherwise this is a great smart speaker!

Love both of my Google nests. If you have other Google products or products that work with Google than this is an excellent product. I have over 30 devices including lights, tvs, door locks, security system and cameras and the Google nest is basically an interface to interact with all your connected devices

Bought it for my nephew for Christmas and he loved it. It was perfect for his new college dorm

Easy to set up and very useful for watching YouTube , listening to music and just daily reminders.

My new 7" Nest Hub Touchscreen is quick to respond with knowledgeable and understandable answers. Great alarm and reminder system. Great music source and she communicates better than my wife!

We have had a Lenovo Smart Display with Google assistant in our kitchen for the last six years and have loved it for providing a central video-based screen for Google Home functions. We often used it to give us recipes by saying something like “ok Google give me a recipe for the best krab cakes ever”. The device would then pull up recipes from websites that gave us a pictorial recipe at our fingertips. Well now comes “SafeSearch” from Google, which basically highjacked our Lenovo hub and prevented it from displaying ANY website. No more fingertip recipes. If we try the request above, a screen pops up saying it cannot show website views. And there is no way to disable SafeSearch in the Home app, nor is Lenovo updating the firmware to make the hub a SafeSearch compatible device. So to get our beloved visual recipes back, it seemed like we needed to retire the Lenovo hub and replace it with a Google hub. At least a Google device would be SafeSearch compatible. We purchased a 7” Nest Hub and brought it home for a try. Works great and did everything that our Lenovo did, including opening up websites again, The two downsides however are 1. Websites take considerable time to show up and load as you scroll down the screen. 2. Scrolling down the screen is done by swiping your finger up on the screen, but more aften than not you end up engaging the quick task bar at the bottom of the screen instead. The device clearly has a minimal chipset / memory, which is not surprising given the low price. It is also too small for decent scrolling operation. Our old Levono was an 8” device which was probably the smallest size to scroll properly with. Bottomline - we will be taking this back to Bestbuy tomorrow and give the big brother Goigle hub a try to see if it performs any better.. It is a bit concerning that Google basically deactivated website viewing on a device heralding this ability when we bought it. Google should at the very least allow the SafeSearch feature to be disabled if desired.

I love everything Google and this was 40% off the regular price. So far so good. I put it in my kitchen and every time I cook or do dishes it play the news or music for me. I love it.

I use this for many things, and I have all my smart devices connected to it from lights,security cameras air conditioner all I have to do is tell it, and it is done. Made my life easier.

[Employee of bestbuy] I love this. I switched everything in my home to Google products once I got my Google Pixel 7 Pro, and I have no regrets. Likewise, I used to have Alexa devices, but these are so easy to use and the Google Home Kit is very user-friendly.

The Nest Hub 7" Smart Display with Google Assistant 2nd Gen is a great product. It was a gift and I am very pleased with it. The screen is clear and the Google Assistant feature is very helpful. The design is sleek and modern. I highly recommend this product.

This is a nice addition to the kitchen or desk side assistant. The screen is crisp and clear and sound isn't too bad either. Only thing I do not like is the "auto-dimming" feature.... when it is dark in the room, the screen almost goes black. You can't read the clock face unless you are like 2 feet away from it.

The Nest Hub 7" is an exceptional device and Google Assistant and Google Home works perfectly with it. I just added 4 smart plugs and smart lights and it was easy to set up. During the holidays I purchased one for every member of my family and they love it.

Got this on a Black Friday special. Product is packed with features. We use it to monitor who is at the front door. We also stream YouTube TV to the display. When not in use, it plays a loop of grandchildren pictures. We have also found it helpful in prepping dinner, displaying text & images for certain recipes.
