Posted .Hi there, DanB. Thanks for choosing Nest Hub Max. We can see that you're experiencing some challenges when using the device for SlingTV. Some video apps such as SlingTV may require you to link the app account to your Google Account. You can follow the steps below:
- Make sure your smart device(phone or tablet) is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest Hub Max.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap your account.
- Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Nest Hub Max. If correct, tap to close the account window.
- At the bottom right, tap Settings.
- Under Services, tap Video.
- Under the video app you want to connect, tap LINK.
- Complete the sign in steps.

Aside from the time display, music, google ask, call features, etc. It can also connect with Netflix, or work like a digital photo frame.

I guess it’s a personal preference. Nothing to bash about the product but it’s more geared to Android users.

The only improvement I would make is fine tuning the calibration of the touch screen for activating actions and turning to different pages.

Bought this to view several Nest cans. Setup 2 of these as a speaker group and works well for lower volume music. I expected the 10" to have better sound than the 7", but they seem the same.
