The sound is an improvement over the smaller version. But the screen started to go blank within a couple of days. There are numerous people on Googles site having the same issues. Its a poor quality product and Google doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. Their support just says to return it. --Not a fan---

If you haven't tried yet, resetting Nest Hub Max may be helpful with the camera issue. This process will erase all data and you may need to set it up again. To reset, check on the back of Nest Hub Max, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub Max will let you know that it's resetting.

Along with all the feature it should be in every home. WiFi connection is sometime a minor issue with occasional disconnects.
