We'd recommend that you retrain your Nest Hub Max to better recognize your voice as this may help with identifying your voice commands. We also suggest adjusting the Hotword sensitivity as it may also be helpful with the issue. You may follow the steps below to help improve your experience:
Retrain Voice Match:
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
Change Nest Hub Max's Hotword sensitivity:
- Open your Google Home app.
- Select your Nest Hub Max.
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon.
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Hub Max more responsive to the Hotword.

Very sleek and user friendly

Toggling the switch on the device to the off position will disable both the camera and microphone. You may turn off the camera alone by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and tap the Camera icon.

Having to pay monthly so I can post pictures as the wallpaper just seems unnecessary. The speakers are decent, but lack any real bass. Also can’t seem to connect a google brand account to the device, which is irritating considering that my brand account is the main account I use, and it makes YouTube music essentially useless since it doesn’t have my playlists and songs saved

- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap your Nest Hub Max and then Settings.
- Then Audio and then Equalizer.
- Adjust Bass and Treble level to your preference.
