That was one of the reasons I bought this at this time was the you tube offer. I tried cancelling my account and signing back up with bb code and was unsuccessful.

The screen and speakers are much better than the normal display, but this thing has so many QC issues. If you use it to watch video that you will just become frustrated. It oftentimes would just go to black video no matter what service you're using and other times it just stops playing for no reason. It doesn't matter if you cast it from your device or you play it directly from the screen, You will be frustrated. This thing is a pile of crap and I wish I would have never purchased it. I will not be buying future Google products like this.

If you haven't tried yet, resetting Nest Hub Max may be helpful in fixing some issues you shared with us. Keep in mind that resetting Nest Hub Max will erase all data and that you may need to set it up again. To reset, simply check on the back of Nest Hub Max, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub Max will let you know that it's resetting.

So replaced it with an Alexa that is compatible with my existing equipment.

We could be looking at a possible connectivity issue that affects the overall performance of your Nest Hub, and it’s important to make sure that this is not caused by a spotty or weak Wi-Fi signal. We suggest checking your Wi-Fi network for a strong and reliable connection. If you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network, removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. You can also try doing a factory reset to improve its performance.
