    Sound is lacking for how big unit is. Several bugs have been experienced as well l, between pauses while playing music to volume automatically lowering itself leading to unit having to be factory reset to fix every time. Customer service is terrible with long wait times and reps that will disconnect you mid conversation if they don’t want to troubleshoot

    1 year and 1 week and it is dead. We tried another power cable and nothing. For thenprice it should have lasted a lot longer. I would not buy again.

    I really wanted ro love this and was so excited when I bought it..just haven't uaed it as much as I thought that I would....maybe there will be some new updates to it..

    A much to do about nothing

    As a matter of fact I plan on returning this item. It was a gift but there isn't enought uses for it. It barely connects and hasn't any highlights I can mention...it's useless to me.

      For optimal experience, you may want to check the placement of your Nest display as range issue or wireless interference can affect its performance. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away. If you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal, we recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. Removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. If your display is mounted too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using an extender, boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points.

    Overall, it is a good item. Only thing I don’t like is that you don’t have the option to play your preferred music player, you can only use what they have offered.

    Not really fair to review now because Google had a huge outage and we are still recovering. Display is dim. I am trying the highest brightness settings.

    It's great! I can connect everything byway of Google. Love it. Wish the speakers were a bit better but with time I am hoping they will not fail me.

    You can't change the language unless you change the language of your phone language changes across all formats

      You can try adding a second language to Google Assistant. It’s easy to talk to Assistant when you’ve chosen more than one language. When you say "Hey Google" followed by a voice command, the Assistant will answer in the language you use after "Hey Google". If you add a second language to Google Assistant, it can recognize either of the languages you’ve chosen. Please note that Google Assistant can’t recognize more than one language in the same phrase. Before you change Google Assistant’s language, make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or linked to the same account as your speaker or display.

      To add a second language to Assistant:
      - On your mobile device, open the Google Home app Google Home app.
      - At the top right, tap your account > Assistant settings > Languages > Add a language.
      - Choose another language.

    I am happy with the google play but I am not happy with the return policy. I had to buy three because I didn’t get my one package with two with one for my son and one for my daughter but it didn’t arrive in time for my daughter’s birthday so I had to buy a third one to send to her. Then I couldn’t get to Springfield to return the one in time because of car trouble so now I am stuck with an extra one. I won’t buy anything from Best Buy again.

    Difficult to use and very limited. You’re much better off getting an iPad IF you’re not using the voice assistant. I got an iPad for the same price when it was on sale. Plus the Nest Hub has to be plugged in the entire time.

    It requires improvement in interface. You can search video by voice but then if you ask to play first one. It would play song ‘first one’

    This will be my third time factory resetting the garbage device which means losing all the footage. The nest products are a pain to setup and are complete trash all around. Dont waste your money.

    Returned mine and got Alexa. Migrating emails from Nest to Google was a pain Spent 3 hrs on the phone with tech support. Alexa was a piece of cake.
