I have three of these things in my house. They make an ok clock radio and run through my favorite photos ok. Once in a while it will be helpful in the kitchen. I live in a large house and am slightly disabled. I bought them in anticipation of having some surgeries. Combined with a Google Doorbell thing, I figured that would work for when I couldnt get around too well. (By the way... How about letting us choose a name for the thing first of all? "Hey Google" is just dumb. Make it personal) I still haven't gotten the video cameras to work. They never worked with my doorbells nor my video cameras. They were installed by your people. Also stop forcing people to go online to find instruction manuals. Hard copy is so much better. Use recycled paper if that's your concern. I think it cost more electricity to look up something online than referencing a page that's dog-eared (for young people, dog-earing means folding a corner of a page in a real book to mark something you want to find again without having to re-read the whole book). Let people customize the name and the voice of the robot talking back to us. I would love Samual L Jackson's voice or Morgan Freeman's voice. That would at least make it fun (you're welcome for the free idea). Please stop making stuff too cute to function. Some people don't appreciate spending hours programing everything. How about an "ON/OFF BUTTON" that gives you everything and let the customer remove or turn off what we don't use? Not everyone is a programmer or has a 9 year old around to set up programs, even though most kids are more savvy than the Geek people I've met (no offense) . Make NESTS more useful for the disabled. You're eliminating a lot of potential customers by assuming we are all 16 and strapped to a video game. For all the money this company is making, one would think far reliable value would be attainable. Do Better! You'll make more money that way.

We love our Nest home max. We use it in the kitchen to easily watch YouTube videos while cooking, to listen to music, and also operate the various smart electronics are the house. The large screen also makes it great to use as a picture frame.

After using the Alexa smart home devises for several years, I am so happy we switched to google and wished we had done it sooner! Comparing the two devises, the nest hub max is the clear winner! Clear screen, quick response,, great sound!

The smart display is a great centerpiece for our smart home setup. Using "ok google" voice prompts to initiate various actions including listening to music, watching videos, and answering our kids' questions. Video calls via Duo are also great. And the large screen size is perfect for following recipes in the kitchen. We love it!

Purchased this for my in-law so we could upload family photos easily so they can view them without us having to always text pictures. The pictures just show up as a rotating slide show automatically...easy setup and works great. The speaker itself works ok for music but I was expecting better sound quality. Overall a great investment.

It’s a good bang for your buck. Supper helpful with recipes and great for listening to music. Sound quality is amazing for such a small product.

“Hey Google, Good Morning.” Such a simple phrase makes the morning start off so much better. From being able to see the various cameras in our house, to watching a quick video on YouTube or Hulu, or being able to SEE who rings the doorbell and be told who it is (if properly set up with Nest Aware)....this thing is amazing.

We love this! Works amazing to communicate with my mom so she can see us live when we aren’t close by. The photos scrolling through the home page make this even better!

I purchased this as a replacement for the smaller google hub. It’s a great product and keeps my toddler occupied with songs and videos.

My family really loves having these. They are more than just a gimmick, seeing our wealth of photos automatically curated and displayed makes them more present in our lives. Streaming integration allows for convenient viewing of shows, recipes, and more while working in the kitchen or similar dedicated spaces. Integrations with our security cameras and baby monitor are super helpful as well. One final major factor in our decision to buy more than one was the included ability to peak in through the built in camera to stay connected when away and keep an eye on our little ones.

The second of these units which is in my home and it was faster and easeier to set up than the original unit I got 2 years ago. This product is consistently improving.

We bought this to work with Ring doorbell. The added bonus is showing our pictures that are linked with Google Photos. Beautiful pictures. The only downside is that because it has screen capabilities it sometimes won't answer questions verbally instead of telling us it has put up links to information.

Easy installation, easier to see, security camera a plus.

Google home Max has a great camera with no night vision great for video chatting but 10 in is not enough needs to be at least 12 inch so you can use it as a monitor also overall great product but just too small doesn't seem to be 10 in to me as far as screen size you should be able to use it as a camera monitor also and should have night vision

This is great for watching shows while cooking, looking a recipes, and just using for general questions.

I like this upgrade from the smaller hubs. My only complaint is that it stopped responding to me for a few weeks. I do have to say that the price jump for the Hub Max is absurd though. It's not worth THAT much.
