It allows your Google Nest speakers and displays to listen for sounds, such as glass breaking, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms, and send a notification in the Home app. Then, you can listen to the audio clip, listen to live audio, or use the emergency calling feature to reach emergency services if needed.

Frustrating

I’ve had it working right and then it stops knowing who I am and I have to set it up again. Gets very frustrating having to reconfigure it every few months. Love that it’s a photo album but it’s a very expensive way to see my pictures.

Nest Hub Max

I am just getting started with the unit. I did purchase and additional smaller unit for the basement. I am looking forward to using more features the units offer.

I ask questions about the weather... news... recipes... and have a lot of fun asking strange questions to mess with her... yes "Her". She takes on a personality all her own. I wish I could change the wake up phrase through. The music speaker is quite good for my medium size kitchen.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to have a much older Google Home Assistant model, when I upgraded to the Nest Hub it was just as easy as it was to use with the older model I had and it is fully functional with the pre-existing smartphone app "Google Home" which makes controlling the device and others so much easier.

I use it to stream my Nest cameras throughout the house and the Nest Hello doorbell. Great tool for the kitchen area. I highly recommend. I also appreciate that the Nest Hub Max comes with certain music subscriptions not available through the regular google home products.

The bigger screen and the camera is a huge plus. The camera even serves as a security cam via Nest. It responds well, and using it for timers and quick videos is convenient, entertaining, and useful.

One drawback is the lack of integration with apple music. Can google and apple squash their beef already?

Easy to install and very pleasant the size of the Screen and the speakers. The only problema relate to limited languages Abd the fact that WhatsApp requires instalation through web. I did not finalizez it so I assume that is working

However, we recommend making the most out of the standard video and voice calling features of Nest Hub Max. There are 3 different ways you can make calls: Duo calling, Google-supported calls and Carrier calling. I can stream music or watch videos. It has all the Google Assistant features. I can ask it to display the front door camera and be able to talk to the person at the door without having to go downstairs. The quality of the video is great.

The picture quality of the monitor displays, in vibrant color and is crystal clear. The quality of this hub surpassed all my expectations.

Set it up for my mom and we share an album that tags us and our pets since we live a few states away its been really nice seeing those randomly pop up. Music sounds pretty decent as well due to the larger size.

If you're thinking whether to go with the big one ore the smaller one? It's worth it to get this one. It does way more and it's faster. Well wroth the extra in cost.

Put the hub max in the kitchen and my wife uses it on a daily basis and definitely love that it will auto-show who at the door with the nest hello doorbell and she can control our entire smart home with it.
