  • Easily beats Alexa

    We've used Alexa for over 8 years. Alexa has become burdensome with its constant "by the way" junk with no option to turn off. Also it began failing to be able to turn some of our smart lights on/off mid 2022, where we had no problems for years. Tried Google assistant and have found it is far superior to Alexa. It actually understands voice better, which makes Alexa look like child's play. We're dumping Amazon in every way possible. They've gotten too big.

    The Google Hub Max is way bigger than it's predecessor and can also double as a security camera.

    I really like this display, does lot in a small package. I just wish more apps were compatible (Zoom, for example, doesn't work at the moment).

    The screen and speaker are great. We use this to play music all the time. Only complaint I have is that some smart functions are "not available yet".
