I have a full Google Assistant Smart Home Ecosystem. I love using the Google Nest Hub Max to help automate my home. It’s ability to work with multiple smart devices in my home make it so awesome. Great sound. Amazing features. Top of the line product!

    Amazing Screen

The screen is noticeably larger than a regular our standard Google HUB’s and their is a built in Nest cam which I did not know when I purchased it. I feel like I got a bonus camera for free. My only complaint would be that the screen alerts the viewer if the camera feed is being viewed live, so you can’t necessarily use it as a nanny cam.

My wife uses it for cooking and all the common commands that we give Google's Assitant. Use it to see people at the door since it is connected to the Google Nest Video DoorBell. Alongside using it as a Nest Video Security Camera, I use it to play music, Youtube videos, Netflix shows, cooking instructions, set timers, call people via Google, video call w/ Google Duo. Speaker is loud for it's size.

fits right into the smart home system. setting up some of the camera stuff isnt super easy and If you have multiple google users in the house I don't think you can really incorporate multiple users.

This is my second Nest Hub Max, and my 4th Nest Hub display. The max has a decent sound to it, works well as an audio source or to manage my thermostat, lights, etc. - it's a great control panel for a smart home to have! I do think at regular price, they feel a bit steep but if you catch them on sale, they are well worth every single penny!

Amazing picture quality and all the things we can do. We had the 7in but had to be with the Hub. Larger and easier to see from a distance. Great job Google.

    Hub and Camera in One

Nest Hum and Nest Cam in one. This hub is great as it doubles as a nest cam. I can watch TV and you tube videos, monitor other nest cams, make phone calls, and when I am away I can turn on the camera to double as another security camera. More useful than Alexa in my opinion. Try to find on sale or with a deal. They might discontinue with all these features.

My wife loves this compared to our 7" version. It has the one the 7" didn't, a camera. Now she can watch youtube videos, get all her daily information, make and receive video calls, and access smart home devices, win-win for her. All in all it works the way it should and gets better with updates. She likes the camera feature that follows the subject but at first it was creeping her out. She is an apple user through and through but prefers google devices to alexa devices and this is a major reason why.

This item was simple to install and use. I also use it as a picture frame and it works nicely with my google photos. I can ask google to show me more pictures from that day or show me photos of specific people. My only concern is that it is a big jump in price from their previous screen but you do get a little more...more screen and more capabilities including calling via duo.

    Expensive Speaker

The Nest Hub Max overall does everything it advertises very well, however in summary it is an expensive (immovable) tablet with speakers. The voice commands are fun for initial few uses, then eventually it is only used for playing music and checking weather. The Duo calls are good, but with many options to do video calls on move, the hub isn't used that frequently. Overall, I am happy I got a deal but feel it's an luxury.

Solid device that provides the ability to do Google Duo and check our nest cameras, which is the main reason we purchased it. It's larger than expected. Sound quality is very good. Unfortunately there is no way to adjust different aspects of the sound. For example, the Nest camera audio for the baby monitor tends to be very quiet. But if we crank up the volume and use Google Assistant or receive a Google Duo call, we are then blown away by the loudness of the aforementioned apps.

This is an interesting product. It does everything the smaller version of the Nest Hub can do (except for sleep tracking). The large screen is great for casting Youtube videos. It can even handle calls via Duo and/or Google Meet. The software delivers on what it is supposed to do, except I cannot seem to get many of the third-party integrations to work, which is a bummer. Sound quality is decent, though. Probably a bit overpriced for what it is.

Unit was very easy to setup. This is my second Google Home. This one I'm using as a Hub for many different items. I have 2 Nest cameras, a Nest Thermostat, 3 Nest Smoke Detectors, a water sensor and smart plug. This is all installed in a second vacation home. We really wanted a hub unit that would Bluetooth to the items instead of using the minimal bandwidth we have at the house. Everything works really well through the unit and connects to the Home app well. I was even able to have a second account in the app just for the vacation home. I don't really use the unit for anything else. Just as a Hub. Way better than the Smartthings Hub. Just give up and get into bed with Google or Amazon because both of them have made things work.

love the big screen. excellent to display all my photos and watch videos on. the sound is fantastic. we play alot of music on it, and its so crisp and clear. the camera is great, the face recognition is a plus as it advises me of my to do list on my calendar and lets me know my expected drive time to work without having to say a word. also can check in on my house when im away with nest app.

We bought this as a step toward making our home "smart". We already had a smart thermostat, and decided that the Nest Hub Max would be a nice way to control the thermostat and switches from a central location. Overall, we're quite pleased. The Nest Hub Max is the best alarm clock in the world. Just tell Google verbally what time you want to wake up and at the appropriate time, you'll hear a gentle chime and a soft glowing light. You can wake to music if you prefer. We often play music from Pandora, just say "Hey Google, play some (name of artist). The sound quality is very good, and in stereo, although there obviously isn't a lot of separation since both channels are in the same housing. We also purchased two of the Home Max speakers to place in other parts of the house. It's easy to make a "speaker group" so that all will play the same music, so you can wander through the house and hear the music and/or talk to Google to control smart devices. Usually this works fine, but sometimes, all the speakers won't begin playing at the same time, perhaps this is an issue with my wifi. If one speaker doesn't begin playing immediately, I've found that if I am patient, it will usually find the wifi connection in a few minutes and begin playing, in correct sync with the other two.

I was a owner of the smaller Nest Hub and I needed to do an upgrade to a bigger screen so obviously this was my choice. Just like its smaller counterpart the Max is just as good if not better. The screen is more vibrant and colorful, the speakers are loud and the added touch of video calls from the device via Google Duo it is a win win
