Works great with staying connected to the kids!

We need a multi-platform way to stay connected to the kids when we travel. Duo can be installed on both Mac and Android OS, and the we can now video chat with the kids easily. Also, love the large screen size!

The picture quality is solid and the sound quality is great. The only reason I don't give it 5-stars is that sometimes (probably 1-2 times per week) it doesn't hear or execute your command and you wind up having to repeat yourself several times.

Don't forget, this is a secondary security camera so really, this is not bad for the price! Speakers is fairly loud with acceptable frequency responses. I just wish it was more touch screen intuitive. Most of the controls have to be made verbally, which can be frustrating for the older folk and for me if I want to quickly look up something with my fingers. Would have been perfect if it allowed more touch control options. For instance, I can't just search something on Youtube with my fingers. I have to ask Google for it and it may not always find what I am looking for. But as for its purpose, it's kept me entertained while cooking or washing dishes and watches the house when I am gone.

It hears my commands well. Just have to get to know more of the thousands of commands it can respond do. Love how it works with my Nest doorbell

We had the original hub and this is a great improvement. We love the Nest Cam built in that tracks movement along with the two-way camera for Google Duo calls with family.

I also added the stand, which is a nice addition and allows easier cord routing and display position. The installation was easy and quick.

I keep it in my kitchen where I have access to my security cameras, recipes, weather, news, music, etc! It makes my life so much easier not having to go back and forth to my phone!!! The sound is good, but I'm a bit frustrated with Googles choice to move to YouTube Music and kill off Google Play Music.

The wife especially loves the cookbook function. It was fairly easy to move all recipes to the built in "cookbook". Has a nice modern look on our counter in the kitchen.
