Love My Max

It's like having a personal assistant at your disposal. You can visit with family while cooking, monitor the safety of your home. The purchase was worth every penny.

I have one small issue, and that is it sometimes doesn't hear me when I am trying to get it to do something. Sound is good. I would buy again.

It controls all of my lightning systems, irobot vacuums, and handles all of my reminders. Displays great pictures as well. Can't ask for anything else more.

It delivers on the Smart Home potential incredibly well and extremely easy to use. I don’t know how we lived without this for so long.

I bought the Nest Hub max for the kitchen and thinking about getting the smaller Nest Hub for another room. We enjoy the ongoing picture show and sound this produces.

I can monitor my home when I'm at work or away. and when I come in the door it recognizes me and turns on my lights, adjusts my thermostat, and answers any curious questions I may have. It's also my kitchen timer, alarm clock, and calander reminder

I can watch videos while I cook, wash dishes, etc. It also is a security camera for the kitchen! The sound on this can be very loud and fill the whole room if needed.

They absolutely love it and so do we as it is a great way to check in visibly when you are far away

I can see it so much better when I listen to a music video or Spotify. Haven’t had a chance to see all that it can do but haven’t had any problems yet.

Nest Protect won’t show on Google Home. Confusion between Nest and Google adds unnecessary complexity

Overall decent product

We purchased it for the larger screen in the kitchen, and it replaced the smaller version. I was hoping the sound quality would be astronomically better, but it is just slightly. The larger screen is nice in a kitchen though, especially with recipes.

Setup is super easy especially if you already have other google minis. Camera qulaity is good. Video calling ability only from Duo is a con.

Bought it to replace a Lenovo display that stopped working. The only problem I've had had been figuring out how to have it respond to another user that I have connected to the account, otherwise a great display.

Posted .Hi Duskin, thanks for sharing your review here. We're sorry to learn that you're experiencing some difficulties in having the Nest Hub Max respond to another user. In order for other users to take advantage of the Nest Hub Max, you would need to invite them to your Home using the Home app. Below are the steps:
- Open the Google Home app.
- Switch to the preferred home the member will be included in.
- Tap Settings > Household and then Invite person.
- Enter the name or email address of the person to invite them to the home and then tap Next.
- Customers will find information about what’s shared when they add someone to their home. Tap Next to continue.
- Review the person’s access to the home and then tap Send.
- If the person being invited is not already in a family group, the customer will be asked if they like to add them. Tap Add to Family to invite them to the family group or No Thanks to skip this step.
Note: Customers can have a maximum of 6 members in a family group. If they already have a full family group, this option won’t appear.
