Excellent sound, I like listening to music, playing relaxing sounds while sleeping, excellent alarm to wake up, it gives you the weather and much more.

I have the smaller one in my bedroom. I love that I can see the cameras, especially the front doorbell, if expecting a package.

So I was unsure if this would be worth the extra investment over the smaller Hub.
After a months use this does have many advantages over the smaller system. The sound is vastly improved which is appreciated by my teenage kids and then the camera came in really handy when we went away on vacation and it doubled as a security cam.
I have also used the max hub to use Duo with my family back in England and it work great!, it also tracks you to some extent when you walk around the room, helps make the conversation feel more natural as you can go about your business without being stuck to one spot.
But ultimately the screen size and the ability to stream Netflix on the screen makes it a great replacement for the baby brother.
I really like the system and have no regrets with the additional outlay to get it....

Bought this product to replace an older speaker. It has a great sound with deep bass, very powerful speaker, it has face recognition, bigger screen and easy to use.
Works great to pull recipes and play music while cooking.

I love our hub. The screen is perfect for reading recipes, viewing our nest cameras, and looking at photos. The sound is great for listening to music in the kitchen. Picks up our voice commands easily. It was super easy set up. Would highly recommend.

We first bought the NES Hub (smaller version with NO camera) for our grand parents. At first, they just wanted to be able to see our Google Photo that was shared with them. Then it came to realization that the screen size was a bit on the smaller size. So, we kept the old hub and bought them this...Wow, it gave them more freedom to connect with us! It uses Google DUO (much much better than HangOut). It's so easy to have video conferencing from our phone to their Hub MAX. Although it cost way more than a regular hub (more than a tablet), but can't beat the convenience for a non-tech savvy grand parents who are not afraid to use it! Love it!

We bought the smaller nest hub the day before this Max came out because we didnt know the Max Hub was coming. We got those on sale for $99 instead of the $129 but just happend to be at Best Buy the next day and seen the Max and though wow its $229 I thought that was kind of pricey but purchased one anyway. The extra money was worth it if has a camera you can view in your home when away, it sets off with motion as well. The speaker is ten times better than the smaller unit and the screen is much bigger. Bottom line if you can afford it spend the extra money it's so worth it.

These are good hubs and a decent camera with the Nest app but if you value them as continuous video feeds, do NOT migrate to Google Home because despite the Nest branding you will lose the 24/7 video history. And it's not well documented. Once you migrate you lost the ability to revert - and worse - you can no longer review footage without events marked in the timeline (so basically anything that is not immediately in front of it).

The Nest Hub Smart Displays are very well priced and the ability to integrate this device with other Nest Hubs and other WiFi ready devices is a snap. This display provides a beautifully clear picture and the Google Assistant is a joy to use. Link your lawn sprinkler system, smart bulbs, and security device features easily with the Nest Hub Max. Enjoy the fun of automating your home with Google products like the Next Hub Max. It is a user friendly way to get started with home automation, I highly recommend this device. It is amazing how low the cost is the level of performance and clarity offered with the device. We were so happy with this unit we placed multiple Nest Hubs in our home. Use this with a Nest Doorbell Camera and Nest Aware for terrific home monitoring features.

The hub max is a beautiful display and is one of the standouts in the smart speaker category. The camera is a nice addition with the max but I question the cost difference between this and the regular hub. Make sure you will make use of the features before plopping down the extra cash.

I own 3 hubs already, I bought the max for another room and you can really see the difference, The big screen is awesome, I can control anything with ease from there, plus the nest camera is an added benefit I wasn’t expecting.

This is such a thoughtful design, and the engineering is second to none.
Works straight out of the box with no set up besides a log in to your Google account. Incredible sound and video; senses light levels and adjusts to ambiance; excellent for video calling via Duo (others to come soon); cleverly recognizes different people and gives them their relevant requested information; the camera tracks your movements so that when on a video call, you can move around the room. It's like broadcast quality camera tracking.
Altogether, a wonderful piece of technology that integrates to virtually any room and design, and has limitless functionality while being extremely easy to use, no matter what your technical ability.
I highly recommend this beauty!

Great screen and good sound. This display gives you the extra with google assistant built in. It really is smart. Great to see Youtube videos. I normally start them in my phone and then easily transfer them to the HUB Max, or I can ask the Google assistant to play it for me.

The larger Nest Hub Max is a great improvement over the standard size display. The sound is noticeably better on this larger display and it includes a camera. It's also nice to have a larger display for viewing videos.

We had the original Nest Hub prior to this. It was our room speaker for any music we played, and on occasion, we would use it to play videos for our twin babies. Only problem was, they would often climb up along their play pen, just to get a better view of the videos playing. But with the Max, that changed instantly — now they watch from anywhere in the play pen, thanks to the three extra inches. Not to mention this doubles as a camera, so now we can step away and check on them with the Nest or Home apps. Overall, I recommend it!

Its a no brainer to choose this smart display from google over its predecessor the Nest hub as this provides better sound quality(best ive heard aside from the Home Max) a camera, and a bigger screen. id recommend this product

I got this to pair with my other small hub. It's works well with it. I have a house full of Nest indoor and outdoor cameras and they automatically paired up. Ease of use, nice looking and sounds good, can't ask for anything more.

I really dig my Nest Hub Max for a main room that functions as a central home control device. Nice picture, good sound, and easy interface BUT its not as responsive as I would like and its SUPER pricey even years later.

I've been a huge Google Product fan for a long time, and when I saw this I couldn't resist buying it. Large enough screen to see from anywhere in the room but not too large where it's obnoxious. Quick Facial recognition shows you your own personal updates, such as weather, news, travel times and etc, all to your liking. The sound is great, picks up voices clearly while rarely accidentally activating to other activity such as a tv. Not even mentioning Google Duo, Google's video call program, can be downloaded on any device almost, clear calls, and when used with the Google Nest Hub Max, if you would like it can even zoom on faces to keep the focus on you, and blur the background to hide a messy room or etc, Highly recommend!

Had this for about a year before I connected it. Works well except I can’t get the sound very loud. Playing music it’s booming but ask it anything snd it’s not very loud. I also use it to randomly display my picture gallery.
