Cool display the picture quality is great all the google features are very easy to use the kids can't keep their hands off of it

Easy installation however I had to restart it due to some bug with the tutorial. Another issue was the phones werent connecting to the device to view the camera. The camera wasnt recording events. Again, i had to restart it and troubleshoot. It took a while to fix, so far its been working fine. No issues yet. Great speaker too. It would be great if they add more functionality to the device such as calendars and notes. All it takes is a software update

Originally for the smaller Nest and returned it for the larger Hub. It just looked too small in our space. Glad I did - picture is great and it really is the hub to our kitchen.

Getting the hang of this as it does more than my smaller nest did. Loving it so far! And, know there is more to learn and try.

I like to start my reviews out straight to the point: the cons. The tablet is great but if it could detach from the speaker that would make things easier. At times I had to use the tablet, picking up the entire unit was cumbersome and heavy. With that being said the tablet itself is a little weird and lacks substance. I found it a pain to just adjust the volume on the tablet . Also me having an iPhone it lacks any software that connects iMessage. The good! Man that speaker bumps! Great sound and a beautiful display. The mic on it works great and picks up my voice way better than I would have thought. Crystal clear display that is extremely easy to read. Responds great and would make a great tablet, if it came apart from the speaker. Video calls are great and the tablet does this weird zoom in thing that keeps you in good aspect to the frame. All in all a great product that will only get better.

I absolutely love the size of the screen and quality of this product. Love the picture gallery slides on a big screen, videos, timer and so much more with Google.

I bought this to replace my regular home hub just because I wanted a bigger screen. It has a camera that I rarely use for duo. It does seem to hear me better and the sound is definitely better than the older version

The Hub Max is awesome. Still learning to use all the features. The camera is awesome. I love the touch screen. The speaker is decent. I just wish the screen was larger and the price not so high.

As it is aesthetically pleasing, there are still missing features that I'm looking for in a smart hub. 1. There's no video playback capability. 2. Limited photos allowed- you need to pay in order to save & play your photos. 3. Can not distinguish my manly voice from a teenager's. On the other hand, the quality of the speaker is really superb- can cover a medium to large lounge room. Connectivity is not an issue-depending on your wifi. Able to connect various smart things.

Have a nest hub in bedroom and got the hub max for Christmas. Love the bigger screen and the built in camera. Ability to slide a switch to turn off camera/mic is a plus vs turning off in software. Definitely recommend.

We have the previous version as well, but this one has a much bigger screen and a camera for video calls. The speakers sound a lot better too.

Setup was easy. Great screen to watch YouTube or other videos. And to control my home. Love the camera addition for monitoring and Duo calls. Added a stand and now can swivel the screen with ease.

So i have two of these and im gonna be honest, after about 4 months of using these specific models with the camera built in being that 1 was bought first before this one that im reviewing, i noticed that both of them Started to glitch alot like restarting at random times during the day and even night, when you give it the Hey Google command some times it doesnt want fo respond and you have to shout at it, at times ot freezes wirh rhe 4 little color dots at the top just moving a bit like its trying to load what you just said, now i have excellent internet with a WiFi-6E Router so i get speeds up to 960Mbps with my spectrum Internet service so internet is not an issue, also i joe that this is overkill for my home but i also have 4 of the 7 inch google home hubs with out the camera built in and those DO NOT have any issues like the two larger models i have. I have trying working with google tech support and though some of their technical help has indeed worked, it doesnt lake long before these 10 inch models start to act up again. Im not really sure why these two freeze and have to disconnect the power from them just to get them to temporarily go back to normal but it seems that google does everything they can to avoid sending a warranty replacement model and because of that, i can NOT recommend this model. The smaller 7 inch version which is either the 1st gen or 2nd gen i recommend as they have never given me any issues of not listening to commands or freezing on me.

Heck of a upgrade from the 1st gen home. The screen is big and nice! Nest camera is also a nice little feature. Speakers a way way better than the 1st Gen. All around it's definitely worth the upgraded no questions asked.
