We use it for our daughter's room. It captures the picture and video, plays songs, gives you all the updates etc. Love it

It's very nice and has a great picture on it but it is a little difficult to learn to use. Have to find some info on it and work on it more.

To be fair I should I have looked into this more. It's basically a larger version of the smaller product. However, I thought for certain the camera would have night vision. It didnt, so that killed it for me. It's great if you need a day time security camera while doubling as a large screen for watching videos and listening to music. It's only real fail is the camera at night or darker rooms.

Great device to pair with nest doorbell. Great sounding music as well.

It has been a real cool to have. Being able to cast videos music or tv shows has been geat bu the real reason we got it was for our mother and grandmother to talk over there it. We got 2 of them, one for each and they have been great.

This is my first Hub Max with a camera (I have the 7"hub as well) and it has not disapointed.

Most of my points on this item are the same as the regular 7" Hub, because it's basically the same device just bigger. Does what a speaker does but adds a screen with Chromecast functionality. One difference is that instead of a sleep-tracking sensor it includes a camera. Unfortunately, the camera isn't well integrated with the rest of the system and feels like an afterthought, tacked on from a third-party aquisition. The experience using the camera is a Nest experience and not a Google experience and drags the quality of the experience down. There is one other problem with the camera, as well. This display is a countertop device angled up at your face with no tilt control, so the applications for the camera are extremely limited. It isn't really useful outside of video chatting. The other difference is the speakers. This thing is LOUD, especially in the bass department. Luckily Google includes an EQ, because I had to turn the bass down to 10% to keep it from booming throughout the room and drowning out dialogue. If you're in the market for a device like this then I'd recommend it. It blows the Amazon equivalent out of the water, but at MSRP it's way overpriced for something that still does less than a similarly priced Android tablet, so wait for a sale.

I thought this would be difficult to connect, I was wrong. The sound quality on this is absolutely amazing. We like it alot.
