Worst device ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my biggest disappointment ever and Google should know better how to put up a show. This device does not recognize anything you command with your voice. I tried to learn it how to use it, watched a bunch of tutorials online, gave to myself one week to adapt and learn about the device but wasted my time. Initially I was planning to get a new Alexa but I saw a lot of reviews saying that Alexa 11 was amazing but displayed a lot of ADS on it and would not want that. However, after one week using this piece of crap, I returned it and got my Alexa 11. Alexa 11 is the best ever! I will never buy this again! Shame on you, Google!

If you have an existing household set up with other Nest cameras and doorbells, the camera on the Hub Max will not work. In fact when trying to activate the camera, it will knock your other cameras offline. Also, this device continued to lose network connectivity. Three hours on a support call with Google could not fix the camera issue. While the bigger screen and speaker were nice, I could not justify the significant cost of this device over the smaller Home Hub we already had and worked fine. We returned the Home Hub Max.

Small quirks are, the hand gesture to start and stop music is sometimes too sensitive (will stop/start music in its own when i accidentally pick up my hand), and sometimes it doesn't pick up my hand at all!

I can leave it in the kitchen and stream to our dining room TV and continue catching the waves while my daughter says the prayer!

The screen has great visibility and the Familiar Face feature is great for providing personalized info. One request for future models would be to have a way to change the angle of the camera. Since mine sits above my microwave the view field is a little high.
