Should have a front camera

I thought I read that this one has a front camera for Duo calls which is why I got it for my sister so she can video chat with our grandmother. Smh disappointed in myself for not catching that, but overall still a good device.

I use it to display my pictures, have the time and temperature ever available, and answer my questions. I run my lights and thermostat through it.

We recommend checking if you are using either of the 2 ways to make free outbound calls (within US and Canada) using your Nest Hub Max:
- Google Duo calls. With Duo calling, you can make and receive video or voice calls to anyone who has a Duo account.
- Google supported calls. Google supported calling allows you to make free outgoing audio calls to mobile, landline, and business phone numbers. Learn more about using the right commands to make outgoing calls with your Nest Hub Max on this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7363847

Very disappointing. When trying to use it to cook it never finds the recipe I’m looking for. Sound quality is decent when it works.

However like most systems today, it takes several google searches to make what should be simple changes. Like almost all things this days, the instructions are all buried under several layers of logic. Which do not agree with my logic process.

We can check our schedules for the day, get updated NEWS, watch a show, listen to music and even get the added feature of having a way to display our pictures. Great product and has a great picture for photos (good colors and contrast). I would definately do it again.

I can't rate it a 5 because of the lack of simple instructions to use voice match features; and in general the availability of any basic instructions.
