The Google Nest Hub is simply amazing! Easy too use.

Love my new google nest hub max. Order it online went to the store to pick it up didn't have to wait not even 15 minutes and it was in my hand and out the dor . Great service

Okay. Slap me on the wrist -- but also, please tell me what this device can actually do that an Android smart phone cannot do? Yeah, nice display. But it is, in this person's honest opinion, an extremely immature device. You have 3 choices: 1. Apple product 2. Google product 3. Amazon product I believe from the gossip that the Amazon product is the most mature and easy to use device, with, of course, Amazon's restricted usage (just like the Apple product). To use the "Goggle Nest Max", which is extremely overpriced for what its value, requires an Android phone. Okay. I have the phone. Please tell me what I can do with this Nest Max that I cannot do with my phone? This is an extremely limited device in all of its capabilities. It is clumsy in its understanding of what we are asking it can do (yeah -- it works most of the time). It can basically only play or repeat YouTube videos -- yeah I know there are other apps, too. But again, my phone can do the same and more, IMHO. Can anyone tell me what real value this product is verses a required Android phone? Thank you.

Awesome! Great for recipes and music. It's helpful to know the weather at all times. No complaints.

Love the Max - spend the extra money for this instead of the tiny one

This is great. We have it in our kitchen and is super helpful when using online recipes. You can have it just visually display the recipe, or read it out loud to you, step by step. Also great for managing our nest thermostat + having a fun slide show of pictures. Also great for using GoogleDuo

Replaced a Samsung portable desktop (touchscreen) computer i used in the kitchen for recipes, music, tv, etc. The past 10 years. It was great, but being able to make calls, search the web, recipes, music, adjust the thermostat, etc. With voice command is invaluable!!! Plus, it's a great indoor security camera as well!

Great quality display + easy setup with Google account.

We already had outdoor Nest cameras and a Nest thermostat, so when deciding which connected home system to purchase, we went with Google. Terrible mistake. We were gifted multiple Google Home Minis, and we waited anxiously for the release of the Hub Max which we purchased the day it was released. My boyfriend and I are both tech-savvy, and neither of us could get the Hub Max to work with our other devices. Now, after five or six nights spent trying to complete the setup, we've had to delete and recreate all our accounts, still nothing works together, and our previously problem-free Nest cameras and thermostat are offline and not working. The Hub Max will work alone, but then all the other devices yell "LOG IN TO CONNECT TO YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT" whenever we try to use the Hub Max. Biggest headache ever. Wish we could return it all. Nothing like spending $1000+ to have nothing work and to lose your security cameras and thermostat control all in the process. DO NOT BUY.

To be fair, I'm writing to let others in my position save themselves the headache I went through. I made this purchase as a present for my mother. With COVID19 going on, I thought this will be helpful to my mother who is older and will allow her to stay in touch with her kids, grandkids and feel like she is "seeing" them. Besides her phone had just died and with nowhere to go, I thought - GREAT! This device will be a wonderful tie over until herd immunity. Well, NO! HEY GOOGLE, for being created in country where diversity is championed and embraced. This device missed the mark. It does not understand any of the names on my mother's contact and could not learn as I had to teach Siri on my Iphone. Part of the appeal to be the Max Nest is so my mother who is not able to recall our phone numbers any more would just tell Google to call us and it would remember the number for her- However, I tried to tell to call my brother, spelled out the name and it only tell me what it found online (and it wasn't even my brother). So, I googled if Assistant understood other languages- It said yes, I went through the steps to add my language to Assistant on my Account, only to be notified that my language is not available for Nest Max. Of course I never was told which device it does work for but none of the hubs or nest. To end on a good note- yes, the pictures are beautiful and if you want to pay close to $300 for a picture frame- this does the job. For connecting you to others? Only if your friend circle is limited to English named...perhaps.

I got it for my mom and she loves it. She can video chat all her kids easily, and look up recipes in the kitchen. She said she likes how the screen doesn't go dark like her phone for recipes.

Bought the google nest hub due to having our google products in our home. Would recommend!
