I really, really want to give 5 stars to this because it's already helped me care for my home and live in parents, but still has some quirks and features to work out. I saved a year to buy the Max due to it's larger size (and much larger cost) than the regular Google nest hub, to use as master control/communication center from my kitchen. I I am close to having a Google mini speaker, hub, lights in each room to help me and my senior parents with added accessibility, safety and information and for the most part it's great. But it really needs more direct app features such as ways to open Google photos directly, actually search and use YouTube easier, be able to access Google apps and use Netflix and other included apps directly instead of having to stream from phone. It's also more difficult to save and access recipes than expected which was one of the main reasons to pay more for the Max vs the much cheaper Google Nest hub. Hopefully Google will get it together soon!

This thing is a kitchen must have from sitting timers to watching videos to even trying new recipes loving this thing and when not in use it doubles as a digital picture frame. And even though I’m an iPhone person I can still link it to my Apple Music and just ask Google to play me some tunes.

I bought this for the purpose of controlling my new smart gadgets (Geeni plugs and cameras) via the Google Max. Works great with the Geeni devices. Love the Hub Max for keeping track of my reminders, calendar, and telling me how my commute is every day. Great sound when playing music and YouTube videos. Glad I bought it !

I love this hub. The video call function is awesome. The camera follows you around the room. Ths sound is great. Casting music and video is super cool. I love it!.

What a great addition! The hub max has a nice size screen and the sound is exceptional as we stream music all the time. Located in the kitchen we are constantly asking google for help .

We like the ease of use, the display is great, read recipes in the kitchen. Very helpful with small tasks, timers, alarms. Good sound for music

Enjoy all my Google products, but this Nest Hub Max Smart Display is the best. It's the size of an Ipad, I use it everyday in my kitchen for cooking, news, tv series, questions for Google. I've been giving them at Christmas too.

I love this even more than I thought I would. The functioning is pretty seamless, we can watch tv, check the weather, listen to music, everything. We put ours in the kitchen and it’s a really fun addition for when I’m cooking or doing dishes or entertaining friends

It is a nice upgrade from smaller Nest Hub. The gesture function surely is very nice to have. But unless bigger screen, better sound or camera is needed, it makes more sense to have 2 or even 3 Nest Hub rather than just one Nest Max. Also, our Nest Max seems to freeze occasionally and requires a reboot.

Nice and big screen. Really responsive to voice and face. The NestHub will notice you looking at it from afar and become ready to respond. Great for use in kitchen as timer and recipe research. Works great with Spotify and sound is great.

We really like the upgrade! We bought it specifically to have video calls with our children. The display and quality of the camera are outstanding. Well worth the update. We also find the larger display much more useful for recipes and other queries. There are a lot of features yet to be explored.

Great little device but wait untill its on sale. I use Google Duo video phone a TON and this is super convenient. Callers love the auto panning and tracking. Google assist makes this a hub or centerpiece of your smart home. Music sounds great out of the speakers! Smart photo frame is fun.

After family member had one and I liked the size of the screen and camera made it more exciting to buy

We use this hub in our kitchen and it's amazing. The display is clear and bright, it doubles as a Nest Camera and work with other cameras we have. Just a nice accessory when you are in the kitchen cooking

Bought it on Black Friday for $130 and it is so amazing to have in the house. Useful for cooking, music in the background, timer, photos etc.

The hands free, visual and informative options you get with the Nest Hub Max is absolutely amazing. At least for me it is because everything I ask of it from making a call, show me this or that to find my phone, again simply helpful and amazing all wrapped in one. I say try it and I'm sure it'll make a lovely picture slide show screen if nothing else!!

So happy I bought the Nest Hub Max. I have had the smaller one for awhile. This one is so much nicer, camera and speakers on/off capabilities and the screen is larger which is a big plus for me. I love the sound quality on the Max much more as well. Extremely happy!

I have enjoyed my new Google Nest Hub Max for about a month and half, and it is my favorite device in my Google Smart Home. There are many things I use it for. I listen to music, watch YouTube videos, movies, and TV shows on it, more so than my TV even. I control the rest of my devices with it, those devices being 3 Google Home Hubs, 3 Google Home Minis, and one Google Nest Mini. Of course the Nest Hub Max conrols all of my smart LED lights as well. The audio on it is excellent, and the screen has great color and sharpness. I also enjoy using hand gestures to stop and restart programs and music, and I am hopeful of new features to come on the device. It is a great addition to my smart home, indeed.

This is my go to Hub out of the 2 versions. I prefer the one with the camera and bigger screen (10 inches) as apposed to the (7inch) screen with no camera. This has better speaker as well and has facial recognition. I have no complaints and bought 3. One for the Bedroom, kitchen and living room.

My wife and I own two of the smaller size hubs and she wanted the larger size for our living room and it makes a "huge", pun intended, difference. I highly recommend getting it if you like the android ecosystem. Great quality and great sound for a small device.
