The Max is a big upgrade from the hub display in our kitchen. The increased screen size makes viewing cameras, calendars and text easy. Installation was a breeze, since we had several nest hubs in our system already. Facial recognition is a double edged sword and trades off privacy for greater functionality. Since we already had facial recognition enabled on several nest cams, we opted in. You’ll need to decide whether you want an always on camera present in your house. The optional nest cam feature works well and integrates seamlessly into the nest app display and nest aware subscription.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. We absolutely love it. We use it in the kitchen for several different things. We look up recipes, play music, ask google to set a timer, and can view the camera when away from home

Screen quality is pretty good! This size is perfect for just about placement in your home - works great in the kitchen, living room or bedroom. Extremely convenient for daily use!

love this thing. we have a bunch of hubs around the house but we use this one the most. the large display is great and being able to use it to check on pets while gone is very nice

This is amazing. We have this in the kitchen and it cycles through pictures, makes phone calls, plays music, acts as a broadcast system with other Google speakers and so much more.

We have been an Amazon Alexa family from the beginning. But lately Amazon restricts playing songs from specific artists. Alexa sends you to a radio station that plays a song by the artist you select. The rest of the songs are by others. Alexa tells you to subscribe to Amazon Unlimited to play songs by a specific artist. We got used to listening to music by our favorite artists so this is a major change in benefits. Someone gave us a small Google hub. We asked Google to play our specific songs and—yeah he takes us to UTube music & we hear everything! So ,a long story short, we bought the new Max on sale for Christmas. We love it & the beautiful photos on the screen. Now we have the two assistants to compare answers.

Have had a few of these. Mostly the regular ones. For the hub Max: The sound is quite good, maybe a little too much bass for my particular tastes, but the wife thinks it's fine. They get plenty loud, can hear around the house when I think I'm just listening to a podcast while cooking. The display itself is nice, love having my connected Google photos account showing favorites.

Great product. Can't go wrong with Google. I use it everyday since I purchased it two years ago and it hasn't failed me yet. Its connected to all my smart devices so I can control them only with my voice. The built-in camera can also be used as a security camera, baby cam, or pet cam.

We put one in our kitchen and it is by far the most used tech item in our house now. Some of the benefits of having an "infotainment" screen for our house are not lost on us but, by far, the biggest benefit has been for cooking. It's an amazing recipe "assistant" and we love it for that alone if nothing else. Otherwise, it works great with anything synced to Google home (we have some hooks in to our smart home system); linked right up. Setup is easy. Screen quality is great. Speaker quality is good enough for what it is (definitely better than the smaller model). All-in-all it's a pretty good value for the price! We use to use an old iPad in the kitchen and, honestly, this has been way better to use for this purpose.

Awesome! The camera follows you as you move around and it’s pretty cool. The best/easiest device to share family pictures through Google Cloud

We had the smaller version of this but wanted the larger one to display our pictures so we could easily see them. We’ve just started using Spotify and love that we can play our music through it!

Google hub max is great for a Ai assistant and integration into smart home management

We started our smart home journey when we learned that our new home security/monitor system works with Google Nest. We literally have 4 of these thing for different rooms. Only recently discovered our climate control works with it too and its not even a Google Nest Thermostat. We find the whole system useful but we are still building and having fun at the same time.

Originally for the smaller Nest and returned it for the larger Hub. It just looked too small in our space. Glad I did - picture is great and it really is the hub to our kitchen.
