The smaller nest hub ($50) is a good value if you don't need a camera. You can still make and receive Duo calls but the other person on the line will not be able to see you. If I make or receive the Duo calls from my nest hub max($200), the other person on the line can see me now, because it has a camera. Nest hub max has a bigger screen and you can watch stuff like Netflix, youtube, etc on the fly. Try looking up Echo Show with the camera, if you're buying for video calls primarily. They have a lot of deals going on.

I bought this to replace my echo show 2gen and this thing is much better I like how you can do a full-screen clock and is louder. great buy

I use this everyday since I bought it. The screen is great and the sound is even better! I do wish it was able to play Netflix or Hulu. But for now it works fine with Watching YouTube videos.

I bought this for my parents to make it easier for my mom to play music and fun for cooking etc. Pictures are great. Cons: If you don't have a cell phone or app accounts (like my parents) the set up was a real pain! Although my mother loves the idea of being more technology based if you don't already know your music and artists its a bit advance. You will have an even harder time calling up songs if you have no idea who to ask for anymore. SO for anyone with speech challenges (from a stroke or just aging like both my parents are) this may NOT be the product for you. Its not age friendly. I would recommend it to someone younger than 60+ and that also depends on the person.

I replaced my google nest with nest Hub max. I am too happy with the max. I can now make video calls with my friends and family handsfree and big screen. I can conversate with the hub like I am talking to a person, i do not have to say 'Hello Google'. what a relief!!!!

This is one of the best Smart screen devices I've had since the smart phone was new. It is also a great Alarm Clock and music player. It has great sound no matter if your a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper it will wake you up almost in an instance after going off! 5 out of 5 Stars for me great product overall and it even plays movies and youtube videos very well a crisp high definition screen.

This is an upgrade from a smaller nest hub purchased previously. We use this primarily for viewing pictures and controlling smart switches and plugs. The screen quality is wonderful as our pictures from Google cycle through. Speaker quality is greatly improved as music is much more enjoyable and, of course, Google is much smarter at answering our queries than other devices we own. This is just a great device.

If you need a virtual assistant, this is one of the best, it responds very quickly to the commands you give it, it also serves as a surveillance camera, the sound is very good.

The Nest Hub Max was a great purchase. I have had this for over a year and have been happy with it since. I use it in my kitchen for one a Camera to check anyone coming up from my basement when i am away and also as a display when cooking or cleaning. It has great options to use by itself but using your phone with it is what allows me to enjoy this product more. It does everything google assistant is suppose to. If you want to watch youtube it is limited on what is brought up for you but you can stream from the youtube app to this display. I would buy again.

I love this display! I have 3 of the smaller Nest Hubs, a Lenovo Smart Display, and a JBL Link Smart Display. The picture and sound quality on the Nest Hub Max is great. I use it in my kitchen for recipes, music, and movies/tv shows while cooking and cleaning. The built in Nest Cam is a great added feature that obviously integrates perfectly with my other outdoor Nest cams and Nest security system. If you are a thinking about upgrading or starting your smart home setup this is a great item to start with.

This hub is great! I purchased it for my husband, who is very into technology. We keep in it the kitchen which is nice because you can watch videos while you're cooking or cleaning up. You can make phone or video calls when your phone is paired and can "cast" to it like you would to a TV to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. Overall we are really enjoying this product. The only negative I want to point out is that it has to stay plugged into the wall, it does not have it's own battery to hold a charge to allow you to switch it from one counter to the next. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, it's awesome.

Had a bit of a hard time setting it up. Once it was set up though it's been great. I'm able to control all of my automations, look up recipes, the only thing that it doesn't do is do a video call with Alexa products which kind of sucks since my whole family has Alexa. Other than that it works great, looks great and is a nice toy to have around.

Large bright display with decent sound. Sounds and looks great in my kitchen.

Works well. Can view my cameras while in bed or whenever i place it.

Google home is a lot better than the best Alexa device I've seen. Speakers are louder and screen is bigger as well
