I decided to purchase the Nest Hub Max due to the bigger screen size. I use it for recipes and displaying photos and with the bigger screen so much easier to see. To get installed and everything on the network was quick and easy and the touchscreen does make it easy to get into the settings. The microphone, if you are not in front of the device appears to not understand what you are saying at times. The Nest that lets you see your place while you are away is nice to have to letting it always track your phone I am not sure I am about that. Overall I am really happy with the upgrade.

After my purchase of a lenovo smart clock, wanted a more general purpose google device. Comes in handy for YouTube videos and things like weather reports, kitchen timer, answering trivia questions. I am probably not using it to its full potential yet, but I am working on that. Changing wifi settings is a bit more complicated than it should be. I like to periodically change the wifi and password for security reasons.

I was thoroughly inpressed with the sound- especially for such a small system. The voice recognition is great. The screen has great touch sesitivity and video quality. This quickly became an integral part of my everyday life!

Great device, big screen, good camera, audio/sound is great. Got it on sale.

The Google Hub Max is a great addition to the kitchen. We are able to save recipes, set reminders, watch/listen to anything, and even use it for calling. What is not to love about the item? I guess I could say it lags sometimes but for the most part it works pretty well in that regard. Have a microfiber handy for sure wiping off the screen often.

The larger screen and better speaker is great but the camera is really what makes this hub great.

Needed a top of the line hub for my cameras. Big screen and good resolution.

Works as it should, great for getting information for the day, utilizing Nest thermostat and doorbell! Only issue is when losing my phone, the Google Hub Max will not ring my phone to help me find it, perhaps because the number is attached to me, but would be a great thing if they can fix that in an update in the future.

A great piece of tech. Easy to set up and use which was great as this was for an older relative who isn't quick to adapt to the digital world. In this case they are using it regularly so we are very pleased with our purchase.

I love nests, easy to use, set up and great to face time

I bought this for my mother to use Google Duo while she is sitting in her favorite chair since we couldn't be around her during the pandemic. My mom is in her 80s. She doesn't have a smartphone but can still work this to call her grandchildren, my brothers, or me. You can use someone else's smartphone to set it up and just make a Gmail account for your parent or child to setup their own profile on the device.

This has been such a great product for me! I can see whos at the door while im sitting at my desk. I have used it for a television and can check on the status of my house. Have even used the brodcast feature to get a family anouncement out to all rooms with a mini. Works great.

It is a great addition to my home! I should have bought it sooner.

Better hub than the previous version. Like the PIP on screen, and able to video call while doing other things.

The best value speaker + tablet device for under $200. Bought it for my parents, this adds up as a perfect gift for holidays. I’ve set it up at kitchen counter for my mother to use it as recipe reference, timer and multiple other things. It adds up as music player for her to be able to work with some jazz.

I love my Google Hub! I use it to find and play music. In the morning I say, " Hey Google start my day" and it tells me the temp, how long my commute to work will be, what is first on my schedule, and then it starts the news. At night, I say, "Hey Google, going to bed" Google asks what time to set the alarm for, tells me goodnight, and then plays soft forest sounds. It is also great for recipes, it reads and shows one step at a time! Love my Google hub!

Perhaps the best thing in my house. This item controls almost everything in my house. I can’t image my home without it.

This is my second Nest Hub Max and I rely on it to get me through the workday. I use it to set reminders, set timers, and ask it questions. The screen is crisp and the sound is strong. The camera allows me to check the house when I'm away, which is a plus.
