I love my Nest Hub! Its like having a personal assistant. All you have you do is talk to it. You can play music, watch videos, make video calls, look up receipes you can even play games on it. The only thing I dont like is that its not rechargeable, you have to have it plugged in the whole time

I love it- helps me wuth recipes. The alarm sounds dont give me a heart attack. You can out your own pictures and the speaker is absolutely great!

Lack of development to be complete. In Argentina its operation is limited (November 2019) since, for example, being able to see the camera from the cell phone is not enabled because it is a Nest service not enabled in my country (Argentina). The sound is good. It does not allow you to install other video programs, such as Amazon Prime, Flow (in Argentina), or music other than Google play or Spotify. A twist is missing.

Easy setup. Really needs night vision. Good camera during the day but goes dark at night.

These devices are incredible, I have an elderly friend who has a hard time communicating and it's hard for me to get up to see him often, we are able to video chat where I know he's okay several days a week! I also bought one for my elderly parents that they will be receiving for Christmas after they move down to South Carolina. I could not recommend a device more highly than this one! The people on the other end need the same device but they are incredible, actually they can use an Android phone to answer a call from this technology.

If you can help them set it up, it is a great item for older people to use because they only have to know one command “hey google…” It makes it easy for non-tech savvy folks to access all kinds of things without having to navigate through different applications. It does not do email though

Nest Hub was easy to set up and use. We use it everyday to browse and access lost of information from weather information to shopping to entertainment.

Had the smaller hub and this makes all the difference in functionality. It has a large screen that makes using google assistance a pleasure.

I was hesitant to purchase an in house camera system. That being said I love my nest. Google is simple to use and has been fun to have. It can look up things and shows my door camera when I ask it. Glad I got the larger screen.

Nice sound and picture quality. There are a lot of different functions which make life easier for a person with disabilities

Great HUB to display and monitor an the APP is useful to make calls to the HUB an see the person clearly.

I have three of these things in my house. They make an ok clock radio and run through my favorite photos ok. Once in a while it will be helpful in the kitchen. I live in a large house and am slightly disabled. I bought them in anticipation of having some surgeries. Combined with a Google Doorbell thing, I figured that would work for when I couldnt get around too well. (By the way... How about letting us choose a name for the thing first of all? "Hey Google" is just dumb. Make it personal) I still haven't gotten the video cameras to work. They never worked with my doorbells nor my video cameras. They were installed by your people. Also stop forcing people to go online to find instruction manuals. Hard copy is so much better. Use recycled paper if that's your concern. I think it cost more electricity to look up something online than referencing a page that's dog-eared (for young people, dog-earing means folding a corner of a page in a real book to mark something you want to find again without having to re-read the whole book). Let people customize the name and the voice of the robot talking back to us. I would love Samual L Jackson's voice or Morgan Freeman's voice. That would at least make it fun (you're welcome for the free idea). Please stop making stuff too cute to function. Some people don't appreciate spending hours programing everything. How about an "ON/OFF BUTTON" that gives you everything and let the customer remove or turn off what we don't use? Not everyone is a programmer or has a 9 year old around to set up programs, even though most kids are more savvy than the Geek people I've met (no offense) . Make NESTS more useful for the disabled. You're eliminating a lot of potential customers by assuming we are all 16 and strapped to a video game. For all the money this company is making, one would think far reliable value would be attainable. Do Better! You'll make more money that way.

Better sound than my Google Minis. Unfortunately, I bought it so I could look at a recipe in the kitchen AND listen to music at the same time. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be able to do that, so I thought about returning it, but ended up keeping it.

The speaker isn't as good as a portable high quality bluetooth speaker, but it gets the job done nonetheless! Excellent screen size and it can receive any kind of chromecast-able stream from your phone.

Purchased 2...one for my friend and the other for her mother...have been able to do video check ins and virtual visits...great purchase...also set up Duo video calls with phone contacts and can video chat with other family and friends with Duo...

I use this to play Pandora... I ask questions about the weather... news... recipes... and have a lot of fun asking strange questions to mess with her... yes "Her". She takes on a personality all her own. I wish I could change the wake up phrase through. The music speaker is quite good for my medium size kitchen.

We love this! Works amazing to communicate with my mom so she can see us live when we aren’t close by. The photos scrolling through the home page make this even better!

I love the Nest Hub Max. I use it to stream my Nest cameras throughout the house and the Nest Hello doorbell. Great tool for the kitchen area. I highly recommend. I also appreciate that the Nest Hub Max comes with certain music subscriptions not available through the regular google home products.

The second of these units which is in my home and it was faster and easeier to set up than the original unit I got 2 years ago. This product is consistently improving.
