Also, it music is pretty loud for a small device. I wish it would turn like Alexa though so I only gave it 4 stars.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ill start with saying that is actually a unnecessary item to spend money on if you aren't planing on only buy google products that works with it. the assistant doesn't understand a lot of commands or you have to say it on a specific and unique way only two tell you that is not capable of do that i think is only good for the kitchen you know whenever you dont have your cellphone close to you and just to probably listen some music and videos on youtube oh and video phone calls. i bought it so i could control all my cameras lights and sketch the internet when i have my hand busy and surprise!!! dont actually support many different app or cameras even its own camera wont play on other devices even if using google home so i totally regret buying it becouse i should ve just bought an ipad instead that actually supports any device camera lights and more …..now its just sitting there in the middle table at the living room looking pretty but that all……they sale it like its gonna do everything for you just by asking it but……. well thats one big disappointing purchase…… oh and i been late for work becouse i totally;ly relied on it to wake me up and guess what happen? yep, didn't go offin the morning...

Posted .Hi slopepfc1, thanks for your feedback and we’re sorry to hear that your Nest Hub Max experience didn't your expectations. You can try adjusting how sensitive your Nest Hub Max is to the hotword and retraining it to better recognize your voice and see if this will improve on how your Nest Hub Max recognizes your voice commands. See the steps below on how to do this:
Retrain Voice Match
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
Change Nest Mini's hotword sensitivity
- Open your Google Home app
- Select your Nest Mini
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Mini more responsive to the hotword.

I am sure we will get it figured out while we sit at home for the next month.
