There's no fee to stream full resolution live video to your display, and to get visitor announcement, as long as your doorbell and Nest display are connected to the internet. However, you’ll need a Nest Aware subscription to record video and receive advanced notifications. With a Nest Aware subscription your video will be saved to the cloud and you’ll get extra features. That was one of the reasons I bought this at this time was the you tube offer. I tried cancelling my account and signing back up with bb code and was unsuccessful.
