Almost made the cut

I rebooted, disconnected from phone and tablets and still doesn’t work. I have to create a new home for me to get the camera working. So to use all other devices I have home 1 to operate with out any issue home 2 to use the camera on the hub. I already reach out to google a week ago through email and no response. Heading to Best Buy and return and it also crashed on me twice. Heading to Best Buy and return

Not worth the money

Posted .Hi Beth, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to learn that you’re having issues connecting your Nest Hub Max to a Bluetooth speaker.
You can try doing the following:
- Turn on your Bluetooth speaker and make sure it’s in pairing mode. Press the pairing button on your Bluetooth speaker, if possible.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Make sure you're in the right home. The name of the home is at the top of the screen. To change homes, tap the arrow next to the home name.
- Tap your device.
- At the top right, tap Settings > Audio. If this is your first time to use Bluetooth on this device, tap Paired Bluetooth devices > Enable pairing mode > go back to Audio.
- Tap Default music speaker > Pair Bluetooth speaker. Your Google Nest or Home device will then scan for Bluetooth devices.
- Tap the Bluetooth device once it appears on the screen > Done.

Trouble Watching UTUBE TV

Sometimes, your Nest Hub Max might not activate when you say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google,” particularly in a noisy environment. If this frequently happens, you can make it more sensitive to the hotword. If you haven't tried yet, we recommend retraining Nest Hub Max with your voice using the Voice Match feature to better recognize your voice commands:
Retrain Voice Match
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
Change Nest Hub’s hotword sensitivity
- Open your Google Home app
- Select your Nest Hub Max
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Hub Max more responsive to the hotword.

Google obviously doesn't care about these products

I've had this thing for nearly a year and was hoping it would get better with software updates but I'm running the lastest and it's still really poor. Top 3 complaints: viewing websites with any advanced content is really slow, home group volume controls don't work well, the auto dimming feature on the display often gets stuck on bright and stays this way through the night.

If you've set up your Google Nest speakers and/or displays into a speaker group, they will continue to work once all devices in the group have been updated to the latest software. Volume and equalizer adjustments can still be controlled individually for each speaker in a group but those adjustments cannot be made at the group level.

Had too many problems with adjusting thermostat it would not adjust and then it would and then it won’t does not let me see the camera to my front door via Vivint was hoping it would be for additional surveillance but honestly, it doesn’t show me my cameras, unless I just don’t know how to use it.

Although you can access web and recipes, the voice commands need to be repeated to often and are kind slow and it takes to Much time to use voice commands for general daily use. I feel the technology is just Not ready for daily use. Not sure if Alexa is any better.

Posted .Hi Gadgetguy, it's great to have your feedback about your Nest Hub Max. We’re sorry that you’re having issues with the voice commands at times. This is not the ideal experience we want you to have.
Google Assistant might not respond properly when you say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google,” particularly in a noisy environment. Also, being specific with your query will help you get better responses. Make sure Nest Hub Max recognizes your question correctly. Ask the same question to see if you will get the same answer. Retraining your Nest Hub Max, to better recognize your voice, and adjusting the Hotword sensitivity may be helpful with the issue. You may follow the step by step guide on these help articles:
- Check which devices are using Voice Match: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7588195
- Adjust how sensitive Google Assistant is to “Hey Google: https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/9712065
You may try these simple steps below that may be helpful with the issue:
- Restart Nest Hub Max by disconnecting the power cable.
- Leave unplugged for approximately 1 minute.
- Reconnect power cable back into the Nest Hub Max.
If unresolved, We also suggest performing a factory reset on the Nest Hub Max, then setting it up again. On the back of Nest Hub Max, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub Max will let you know that it's resetting.

Resetting your Nest Hub Max may be helpful with the issue. Keep in mind that resetting Nest Hub Max will erase all data and you may need to set it up again. To reset Nest Hub Max, check on the back of Nest Hub Max, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub Max will let you know that it's resetting.

Posted .Hi Justin, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry that your Nest Hub Max experience has been less than ideal. While your Nest Hub Max can't display your whole Google Calendar, it can actually display your upcoming calendar events that you've created.
Voice commands like ""Hey/Okay Google, what's my calendar for ?"" or ""Okay Google, when is my first event/meeting/agenda?"", your events will be displayed on the screen of your Nest Hub Max. You can also select on the event to expand the entry and the device will read out the event information.

Google Nest Hub Max

Google stated that this would happen automatically twice a day but over the last few mints it happens throughout the day and night multiple times. I have done factory resets and contacted Google and there is no fix.

Google Photo Frame often gets stuck showing pics

There is a known problem that Google has failed to fix for several months now. I own 3 of these devices and all 3 have the same problem. The photo frame feature is constantly getting stuck while displaying photos. You can verbally instruct Google to advance to the next photo, but who wants to keep doing that dozens of times each day.

It’s an expensive smart screen that is slow and sluggish. It adds as a security camera in nest app but lacks the very basic night mode infrared videos. I once relocated nest hub max from one room to another and it went berserk. Nest app started toggling camera between nest doorbell and the hub max. I had to reset the device and connect again. I feel trams in google don’t talk to each other, they just make the product and see what happens.

Several bugs have been experienced as well l, between pauses while playing music to volume automatically lowering itself leading to unit having to be factory reset to fix every time. Customer service is terrible with long wait times and reps that will disconnect you mid conversation if they don’t want to troubleshoot
