Expected a little more from Nest

Where it lacks is the camera does not have a night vision mode - and I was unaware of this before purchasing. All other nest cameras have night mode so I expected this to have it as well. Very disappointed in that fact!

Integrates with my calendar, appliances and security system with ease. It's reliable and easy to configure. If you are standardized in the Google platform its a no brainer.

Good Smart Speaker but looses connection often

Sound is excellent, photo display works very well and Google is responsive. However, possibly once a day it loses Wi-Fi connection. It is easy to fix - reboot, but it can be annoying. I have 4 Google smart speakers and about 6 Alexa smart speakers and this is the only one that looses connection.

We understand how frustrating it can be having to reboot your speaker when it loses connection while other smart speakers don’t, and this is not the kind of experience we want to share with you.
A range issue or wireless interference can affect the performance of your display. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away. If you're experiencing a spotty connection or weak signal, we recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. Removing other connected devices to your Wi-Fi may relieve network congestion. If your display is mounted too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using an extender, boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points.

Gesture control is great, has a large high quality screen but best of all has an amazing speaker, much better than previous versions. Great addition to my kitchen

This Google device replaced the old "other smart device which shall not be named" and is an upgrade in terms of speaker quality.

I love having it on my kitchen island for music, video chats, YouTube and the news. I would love if this connect to my home NAS so I could make playlists, but otherwise it's just great. I had to reinstall some of my 3rd party apps (like hue) in the google app for it to work, but that was quick and easy as the settings were all saved.

Sits on her desk and she loves it. Loves that the ease to change the photos out as she feels fit is super easy

I can view my home’s surroundings on Nest Cameras, I can Video call with family through Duo, listen to Music, attend Church Through Zoom, check the Weather, There are children’s interactive stories, Download pictures and watch You Tube. And That’s just all That I know about.

I keep it in my living room and it is capable of turning on all my smart lights, TVs, and air conditioner. I use it as a security camera when away. The sound has incredible quality and is very loud with nice bass. When I go to bed I say "good night Google" and it shuts everything off and plays select music or sounds.

Max vs mini

We have had the Max for a couple weeks now and it does so much more than the mini, and the larger screen is also much more practical. I would highly recommend the max vs the mini. It is well worth the extra $100 or so!
