Lots of new features from the 1st gen model. The screen size is great and the screen is really clear. Has many great uses and is still expanding.

I love that has a camera built in unlike the Original nest hub. It also includes Zoom which I use to communicate with my employer and co-workers. Overall great device.

The only question was where to put it in the kitchen. It will be used to constantly have recipes at a visual glance. They shared some videos with us too. Great gift

Excellent Hub all around!

It controls all of my lightning systems, irobot vacuums, and handles all of my reminders. Displays great pictures as well. Can't ask for anything else more.

I thought it would be too big at bedside but it actually works pretty well. Also with plans to buy a house this would come in handy

Bigger and better screen!!

One downside is it says there is an error every single time i ask it something?? Second time always works? Also i was told it would work to view my cameras and it doesnt

Posted .Hi there, thanks for sharing your experience with using the Nest Hub Max. It’s unfortunate to learn of your issues with the performance of its Google Assistant, and with streaming your camera on your Nest display.
If your Nest display is having a hard time picking up your voice commands, there’s a possibility that the display is having trouble connecting with Google. We’d like to eliminate the possibility of your Wi-Fi connection being the cause, and if you haven’t yet, we suggest the simple steps below:
- Unplug your Nest display and wait for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait for the device to reboot, then try to ask the Assistant your question again.
- Reboot your modem and router.
- Try to switch between 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHz network to see which band is more reliable
- If there are nearby devices that may cause interference, such as microwave ovens, wireless speakers, baby monitors, Wi-Fi routers, try to move your display to a different room, or to move it closer to your router.
Retraining your Nest display, to better recognize your voice, and adjusting the Hotword sensitivity may also be helpful with the issue. You may follow the steps on these help articles:

Lastly, you can stream your compatible security camera using your Nest Hub. If you’ve set up a Nest camera or doorbell, it should already be added to the Google Home app. After you’ve added the camera, you can even use your voice to stream your camera video. I bought the Nest Hub max for the kitchen and thinking about getting the smaller Nest Hub for another room. We enjoy the ongoing picture show and sound this produces.

It's like having a personal assistant at your disposal. You can visit with family while cooking, monitor the safety of your home. The purchase was worth every penny.
