I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and this thing is amazing. The screen is big, the sound is great, and it’s easy to use. People always use it to tell time instead of the clock on the wall. The camera quality is also great and I’m able to see the whole living room. Overall excellent addition to any home.

Already have smart gear? This is a must-have upgrade. If you already own other quality Google smart products like cameras, a doorbell, or a thermostat, the Nest Hub Max is definitely a buy for you. The built-in camera with Face Match ensures personalized notifications, and Google Assistant is always ready to help. Plus, it doubles as a digital photo frame, displaying your favorite memories when not in use. A seamless addition to any smart home setup.

User friendly smart device. Anyone can use it and can be used to connect different smart device as it acts as a hub. Can be used to control other smart devices like RGB LED lights, phones, tvs etc. Can be also be used for music as it has a good speaker. Overall great product! The reason I didnt give 5 stars because I feel like the price is a little high.

This was an upgrade from the nest hub because it was starting to act up. It’s a lot bigger, volume is much louder, and we like the camera to see what the cats are up to when we’re at work. Pricey, wish I woulda bought it Black Friday or something. But we do love it.

This has been woderfull! We ended up getting this rather than a "Frame" product and this was easy to set up and has just worked for showing our pictures. All our kids can just add pictures for us to see. Also, it can play music just by asking it. We can ask for a type of music or for a specific piece. It seems to always get it right even when we are not sure of how to pronounce the name etc. the picture and sound quality is fantastic. In addition it can display such things as internet recopies and it's large enough to read while cooking. I am planning to get a video doorbell and since this is a 'hub' I can see and control that from here. If I had the devices, it can lock doors and turn lights on and off or dim them at set times or by voice command. This is just the beginning, for instance, if you have a supported (many options) smart thermostat you can control your temperature again by schedule or by voice command. I love it now and expect to use it a lot more in the future.

Love this device. I have Google Pixel phone and works well with it. Allows you to shut off mike and camera when necessary. Responsive and synchs with other Google products. Music has great sound quality. Glad I bought the max with bigger screen.

Love the features. Including the camera following you while you tend to do daily routines. Worst was setting up video contacts and also that you need to clean your contacts. Numbers that are duplicate appear as such on the hub contacts.

Quality of the picture is beautiful and a really good size for my dad to use. The voice commands are easy for him. The biggest issue is the setup. definitely not user friendly to set up...especially for seniors. My husband works in IT and struggled to get it hooked up to wifi...having to factory reset more than once. There is no way my parents could have figured it out.

This device keeps all household members authorized for use. Display is detailed and vivid. We have it displaying our pictures filtering people we want to see on it. We currently do not have it paired to any external audio since it's on stereo output is great for its size. This connected to smart devices though out home makes controlling them a breeze. It would be kind of awesome if you could install play store games on it or have an external or internal storage for play store apps, photos and games. Other than that we are relying on the cloud for everything. Another main reason we got this was the ability to call any number you wanted. Unfortunately Google has crippled this feature and you are not limited to contacts on your account. Another awesome feature is the built in camera that can be used to monitor or for video calls.

Love this Max display. Works great, it has a great sound and wow what a difference in size compared to the smaller Google hub. Since it has a build in camera, it also works as a security camera.

We already have 2 Google hubs and we absolutely love them. We added this upgraded version to our kitchen. The screen is bigger(I can see it from the table) and it has many new features. It has a camera that doesn’t bother me. If it ever does it can be turned off. We find recipes and ask questions and play music. The one in my bedroom calls me by name and gives me reminders for the day. You also can set it up so you don’t have to say “Hey Google” every time. Our hubs add timers, news,events and jokes to the day. A very good addition to our home.

The way this screen is designed it sits atop the speaker and its footprint isn't too big. The color rendering and light sensing is much better on the Google products over the Lenovo ones. The sound quality is excellent and processor speed is also very good. Compared to the 7" home hub, at night this ones screen and digit size are much brighter, so if light in your bedroom is a concern you may want the 7" unless a operating system update lets us change the font size. I have not used the camera yet but there is a physical switch to shut it and the mics off or you can swipe to turn just camera off. There is not a physical shutter to hide the lens though. I am told this does integrate with other Nest accessories like the temperature sensor as well but none is built in like the Amazon echo plus has.

This is a beautiful device. The sound is leaps and bounds better than the smaller nest hub. It was really easy to set up and integrate into all of my apps. The slide show was simple to set up as well, and wow, the display makes all my photos look fantastic. The face recognition is a little creepy, but what the heck, I really don't care if big brother watches me cook(oh the hub max is in my kitchen). The sensor that activates the device is really good as it wakes up immediately. I also like that I can set up and name multiple timers(like one timer I named pizza, the other chicken wings, etc..) and the you can say ok google turn off pizza timer and voila:) did I mention the sound and display is great? Oh, and everything is really fast. I have a ring, can't wait till the ring can be viewed with my hub max. Bottom line, for a couple hundy you get great sound, a really smart display for all your recipes, and an elegant way to view those family photo...a real crowd stopper too. go ahead and buy one already.

I would give this rating 5 stars; however, the migration with Google and Nest still has some glitches to work out. Once I migrated from my Nest account to my Google account it deleted all my cameras since I had two profiles in Nest and the Hud Max can only allow you to view your cameras on the main profile. I called Google's customer support and they had to conference me in with the Nest customer support team too. At the end I was instructed to reinstall all my cameras under one profile. This was a pain since I have several cameras that require a ladder to reach them. Over all, the product is great. The speakers are loud and pictures are vibrant. I only wish this product was still compatible with my Lutron - Smart Home Lights.

I LOVE my NHM! I have it near my TV and honestly, I sometimes watch it more than the TV. The images that scroll by are great to see. The sound is excellent, very clear. It doesn't take up a lot of space. I do wish the screen was more vertical, especially when I check on the house when we are away. I show it off and now everyone who sees it, wants one. I'll be getting one for my mom and my mother-in-law....because they both love it!

This is a great product with a super large and crisp display, simple and easy set up and works great. Updates happen in the background without being annoying. Watching TV or YouTube videos on here are great and I love being able to see my nest cameras on screen. Great product!

Love this display! It is big, has a great quality camera and doubles as an extra security camera! It does not have night vision so if the room is dark your camera is dark but making Cala on it and answering our doorbell with it is very helpful!

I am enjoying this Nest Hub Max Smart Display a lot. I use it for weather conditions and playing music. I intend to use it in conjunction with my Nest doorbell once it is installed. I also use it to "Google" questions instead of using a phone or computer. This Hub has many more functions, but for now I'm only using it for these functions. It was easy to set up and has worked perfectly in my living room. I 've enjoyed the benefits of it so much that I bought another one - the 7inch model - and set it up in the kitchen. I am 100% satisfied with this product and recommend it because of the many functions it can perform.

It is also amazing useful in kitchen we can listen all music and also we can seen our memories in our mail id and we can see like slide show our photos. Set up is a bit of a hassle as I’m still running into issues/not fully set up with this after after a month since setting it up. Camera display only works for my fiancé’s account but not mine (even though I was assigned admin on the Google home account. Other issues like phrasing your commands in a particular way can be a bit annoying (ie “open Netflix” is not a command it would follow but “play [show/movie name] on Netflix” works. Sound and video quality are great though.
