The screen is clear, the audio is well above the Mini. The recipe feature is cool, I haven't tried the hand gesture thing yet, but I have read a lot of positive reviews about it.

But volume isnt a good as Alexa show. Plus it's a little harder to get apps in the Nest. But overall it we are still trying to figure out and so far is good

The bass outdoes the mini counterparts and the os runs way smoother.

If you are buying this to substitute a photo frame viewer get the viewer one. It doesn’t have a usb on it to add a thumb drive. I have setup my google photo app and created a folder just for the photo viewer. The album has over 600 photos in it but this thing only shows about the same 20 over and over every day. I have looked into it and notice that others are having the same problem. It not the quality of photos that’s the problem. I know this cause it does display one of the fuzzy ones, so I know it’s not the google app and by others post on read it google knows it’s a problem but doesn’t seem to care to fix it. Hope this helps.

Google Photos uses automatic curation that attempts to remove bad photos such as blurry, poor exposure, low resolution or near duplicate. It also hides any photos that are archived or that have hidden faces in them. If all the photos are in the album but some aren't showing, you may turn off the Photo Curation, and you may also try marking your photos as Favorites. I’ve been using Amazon smart assistant devices for year and have all the latest ones in different sizes, and I’m in love with nest hub max.

Works as a great digital frame, kids watch you tube on it, duo create a land line at my house but One major milestone for me was to setup the cam for surveillance and I couldn’t so far. It gets into a infinite loop

Echo or Nest Hub Max. Configuration is typical Google, complex and too many settings. I tried to control my devices with it and it took them all over. Nothing works with Echo anymore. I had to remove all devices from the Nest Hub and start from scratch putting them all back into my Echo. Took two days. Lights, switches, garage door opener, plugs. What a pain. I will give a thumbs up to the Nest Hub Max. It does YouTube and YouTube TV perfectly. Also, the Nest Hub has a wider and more comprehensive knowledge for answering questions. That is something Echo could really learn from. It looks good, but the sound is not as good at the Echo Show. Overall, I give it 3 stars. Why? it cost me 2 days of work getting my smart devices back the way they were before I installed the Nest Hub.
