Google Assistant is the smartest of the three big-name assistants, so I can ask it most any off-hand question and get an answer without going out and doing a search. Additionally, I have a pretty smart house, and the Assistant works flawlessly with all of my lights, thrmostats, fans, etc. This box is especially nice because I can get my answers in a graphical display, YouTube video, or whatever, and it has a nice camera so it doubles as a home security monitor and I can use it for video chat with the family.

Very easy to set up and easy to use. Picture is great. I would highly recommend. Using the duo calling is a great feature.

I LOVE my google nest hub! I initially got the charcoal one and then returned it for the chalk - love it better. It’s so user-friendly. Speaker is fantastic and picture quality is great! The only thing I had an issue with was airplay. It kept going in and out of HD, which was annoying. Not sure if it was an internet thing or a Bluetooth connection issue. That said, this is a great gadget!

This is our second purchase of a Nest product and are thrilled with its function. Music in the kitchen, recipes, news and more. Connects to phone from any were and can see if there is motion in room with alerts. Live Google photo. Glad I waited for this latest edition. Sound is fine for listening in a kitchen environment, not audio file perfection for $200 as shouldn't be expected. Screen is big enough and sits nicely on counter out of way. Would recommend to anyone!!

Enjoying the big screen and the ability to view and speak into when not very close; i.e. from kitchen or dining room.

Works great for everything. The recording of my room given I'm renting with roommates is extremely beneficial for tense or argumentive situations. Only issue I've had is it mishearing something from my TV to cause it to activate.

I bought this to replace my echo show 2gen and this thing is much better I like how you can do a full-screen clock and is louder. great buy

Love this new Nest Hub Max. Sound quality is significantly better than the first generation and love the big screen.

The smaller nest hub ($50) is a good value if you don't need a camera. You can still make and receive Duo calls but the other person on the line will not be able to see you. If I make or receive the Duo calls from my nest hub max($200), the other person on the line can see me now, because it has a camera. Nest hub max has a bigger screen and you can watch stuff like Netflix, youtube, etc on the fly. Try looking up Echo Show with the camera, if you're buying for video calls primarily. They have a lot of deals going on.

I use this everyday since I bought it. The screen is great and the sound is even better! I do wish it was able to play Netflix or Hulu. But for now it works fine with Watching YouTube videos.

I was surprised with the sound quality, much better than I expected. Easy to set up, easy to use.

I bought this for my parents to make it easier for my mom to play music and fun for cooking etc. Pictures are great. Cons: If you don't have a cell phone or app accounts (like my parents) the set up was a real pain! Although my mother loves the idea of being more technology based if you don't already know your music and artists its a bit advance. You will have an even harder time calling up songs if you have no idea who to ask for anymore. SO for anyone with speech challenges (from a stroke or just aging like both my parents are) this may NOT be the product for you. Its not age friendly. I would recommend it to someone younger than 60+ and that also depends on the person.

This Nest Hub Max Smart Display is unbelievable the picture and the sound are great. I would definitely recommended this item.

i love the nest hub max. if it were only an automatically updating picture frame it would still be worth the price. we don't use the smart features a ton, but i love having the pictures automatically upload from my google photos. i have two at home and gifted one to my mom.

Love it!!!! Bought it for my kitchen and love the size of the display and it has a great sound too!!! Would recommend!!

This is an upgrade from a smaller nest hub purchased previously. We use this primarily for viewing pictures and controlling smart switches and plugs. The screen quality is wonderful as our pictures from Google cycle through. Speaker quality is greatly improved as music is much more enjoyable and, of course, Google is much smarter at answering our queries than other devices we own. This is just a great device.

If you need a virtual assistant, this is one of the best, it responds very quickly to the commands you give it, it also serves as a surveillance camera, the sound is very good.
