I decided to purchase the Nest Hub Max due to the bigger screen size. I use it for recipes and displaying photos and with the bigger screen so much easier to see. To get installed and everything on the network was quick and easy and the touchscreen does make it easy to get into the settings. The microphone, if you are not in front of the device appears to not understand what you are saying at times. The Nest that lets you see your place while you are away is nice to have to letting it always track your phone I am not sure I am about that. Overall I am really happy with the upgrade.

Great buy! Most of all it was delivered the same day! Is a awesome to have when you are busy cooking and being able to watch YouTube TV. Great sound great picture. Most of all I can use Duo for Android video calls!

I bought this for my mother to use Google Duo while she is sitting in her favorite chair since we couldn't be around her during the pandemic. My mom is in her 80s. She doesn't have a smartphone but can still work this to call her grandchildren, my brothers, or me. You can use someone else's smartphone to set it up and just make a Gmail account for your parent or child to setup their own profile on the device.

for me google ai is much better than Alexa. I recommend.

Use it for my google doorbells and lights works great

We pitched this as a central unit to control cameras, music, etc. from our kitchen. My wife also loves having the ability to Google search for recipes, set cooking timers, and video chat with family. We love this addition to our Google home automation.

An exellent device! The sound quality is so much better than expected. Sometime google is a bit finicky but otherwise well worth it.

Not too hard to start up. But can’t figure out face recognition yet!

The sound is pretty good on this. I like the bigger screen and the picture is really sharp. I love my Google Assistant!

Better hub than the previous version. Like the PIP on screen, and able to video call while doing other things.

Excellent picture. Great Sound. Still learning it but so far I am extremely happy with all the functions it seems to be able to accomplish. I know I am still learning everything about it but there is one thing I don't like and it is that when I want to turn the mic and/or camera off there is only one switch. Both off or both on. You cannot just turn the camera off and leave the mic speaker on.

Its like having a small interactive tv! If youre thinking about buying one, its worth it. I use it more than i thought I would.

It works as a decent photo frame but its very laggy. Google meet/duo never works and you have to constantly reconnect everything and give it all permissions again and again and again. All apps are dumbed down versions of app like an apple carplay version of spotify. Google assistant misses 50% of the time. Camera is terrible quality indoors. My 6 year old google nest stick up cam has better quality image and night vision is just non existent. Definitely wouldnt buy it again.

I love my Google Hub! I use it to find and play music. In the morning I say, " Hey Google start my day" and it tells me the temp, how long my commute to work will be, what is first on my schedule, and then it starts the news. At night, I say, "Hey Google, going to bed" Google asks what time to set the alarm for, tells me goodnight, and then plays soft forest sounds. It is also great for recipes, it reads and shows one step at a time! Love my Google hub!

Same as older Google Assistant Displays but with a larger screen and somewhat better speakers.

I love the Hub Max. It's not without its flaws like any technology but overall im very happy. I like the photo frame, viewing cameras, and controlling smart home devices with it.
