We started with a mini then got the regular nest hub only to eventually buy the max. The display is amazing and the sound is very good too.

The hub max is a much larger screen and provides more real estate to display critical info to you about the home and your info. It’s nice to be able to cast info to this on a screen that is much bigger than the standard nest hub.

With Nest doorbell, when someone rings it automatically appears on the nest hub. Same with other cameras as well as co trolling your Google smart home. Also has surprising sound when listening to music or watching YouTube.

My sister in turn got one for her mother in law. My sister and her husband are “Alexa People” and they still loved it. Does everything you want and you can video chat. The camera follows you as you move. All our home automation is now run by the hub. We love it.

I was concerned it would look awkward in my space because it's a bit big, but no issue. It looks great and works great and the sound is fantastic. Def. worth the upgrade if you are debating on the max or the regular.

I use this device in my kitchen and the extra screen real estate is great for looking up recipes or checking the weather from across the room. The real reason I upgraded was for improved audio and I'm very impressed - music sounds great even at higher volumes (although I usually use it for podcasts which sound loud and clear). Very happy with this upgrade and the price is pretty good as well.

Have it in my kitchen and it is great to listen to music or watch TV while cooking (I spend a lot of time in my kitchen). Streaming photos is one of favorite features but there's alot more. Really like being able to control the smart outlets and lights, checking weather, listening to music but this just scratches the surface.
