I purchased this to use ion the kitchen, it works great for asking questions, looking at the weather, looking up recipes, etc.

Good voice assistant as well as a good sound speaker which can give you access to free music using the YouTube music app.

Perfect size for nightstand, understands every word, does way more than you think and new functionality added frequently.

Overall great device. Has some limitations however. It won't answer some more complex questions on search. Great for music around the kitchen and living rooms. Easy for kids to use as well as adults.

I love my google assistants. Ask questions for anything you want or need to know. You can add and control any devise.

Great little device. I cast my cameras to it when they detect motion. Using homeassitant for that.

I started with a Google Hub for my home with 3 light bulbs. Then we purchased a "Nest" 3rd gen learning thermostat. I was able to see the savings after only a couple of utility bills, and have since added more lighting and mini googles as well use my Google Hub to set up my Mothers home 90 miles away. Google hub makes it so easy just read and follow the few simple steps and watch your energy savings start. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to save energy cost and make life simple.

Wife uses this for videos and recipes while cooking. I use it for videos/music while cleaning. Absolutely love it.

Product was much better than I expected. I basically got a little fed up with the home hubs direct competitor, and wanted to try something new. I was very pleased that it had many more, and more detailed functions than my previous one. Once I put my Google account information in it instantly new all about me. When asked to play a youtube video it invariably pulls up something I really like. Very easy to set up. Voice recognition is almost perfect. Even understands me while I am brushing my teeth!

I already had a Google Home and two Minis, along with an alarm clock when I purchased the Hub. It is a nice addition to the technology that we have in the home, especially its video capability. I know I haven't utilized the system to its fullest potential, but I am learning how to incorporate everything together. There are times when Google is a bit slow in connections to podcasts, and sometimes it loses the internet connection. I'm looking forward to using it to explore recipes and other videos.

It works well, is relatively simple to set-up, but just doesn't seem to operate as smoothly as an Alexa, which my daughter has in her home. But not bad overall for basic assistant functions.
