This size is great for a bedroom as it’s not too big and bright, plus it offers more privacy features than some other units. Sound quality is good and I like being able to stream music throughout the house to all hubs/speakers. Great value when you can pick it up one sale too!

It's a google assistant with a screen. The screen is helpful when viewing calendar entries or looking up recipes. It is a bit hard of hearing sometimes and sometimes does not play well with other devices its linked to. The other disappointment is that it does not have a camera so you can't use it for video calls. All in all it's a great device and the price I paid $100 for 2 of them is well worth it!

So far I love my nest hub. I have not used it to its fullest capability. So far I have used it to set timers for food prep or alarms to remind me to leave. I've plaid music and searched the web. Once my home is fully integrated I'm sure I'll figure out other features.

Purchased display as a secondary way to view cameras on property. Camera connections are a little slow to open average 15-20 seconds to be able to view. Rest of smart home controls work effortlessly being able to see your photos is an added bonus. display is nice speaker is good for music not great.would recommend the larger size display only if you are interested having a camera on it.

The Google Nest Smart Hub is middle child with the Nest Mini being the youngest, and the Nest Max being the oldest within the Nest family. Google Home, Nest Mini and Home Max are all Wi-Fi speakers that double up as smart home control hubs and personal assistants for the entire family. You can use them to playback entertainment throughout your home, manage everyday tasks, and ask Google things you want to know. The three devices vary in terms of speaker and technical specifications, design and cost but they all offer the same functionality when it comes to Google Assistant, smart home control and music playback. The main differences between the Nest Hub is the addition of a 7" display. With it naturally comes video capability and features like digital photo album. The Nest Max comes with an even larger 10" display and a built in camera for video chat. A little caution though, there is some controversy with the camera and what it may be recording while you're unawares. The Nest Hub device is easy to set up and integrate with other Google products you may already have. This means no more screaming to get the kids attention. Tell Google to 'Broadcast' what you want to say and save your vocal cords for when they're really bad. Now only if Google can control their internet access... RRP for this item has already come down about 15% since I purchased it, and with a sale, it can be a really good buy.

This functions just as the other mini home pods I have but adds a screen. For most things I used the google assistant it doesn’t add too much additional functionality. The screen does help when visuals play a part in the question you would ask. Also the sound from the speaker is a bit louder than the pod.

We are a google family and the google home hub was a must add. Easy to set up, easy to use. The speaker is not as good as the original google home. Love being able to watch recipe videos while I’m cooking, display digital pictures, check weather and many many more things! Black Friday pricing was a plus!

This is absolutely fun! I enjoy being in my kitchen watching my screen of family pictures flow as the music I like plays. I love being able to watch news on it in the morning with my coffee, hear weather reports, set a timer or ask for a recipe. It does so much more Too!

Most people have these devices and they only ask about the weather. (a bit silly?) but in fact, this device and all Nest & Home assistant devices are going to change everything. Automation of heating/cooling, cameras, lights, door locks, etc. all can be seen/controlled from this Hub. I even connected up my HDTV and it is now fully voice controlled using this Hub. no reason to get Hub Max, since I have a phone that does all my video phone calls. Hub will show you personalized news, weather, local events, youtube, etc. at a touch of a finger. It is also showing all my google photos (from my phone) automatically when in stand-by. and once you learn about "Routines" it really starts to show the power of this technology. Just say "Hello, I'm home" or "good night" and you can automate everything. Nest will even know when you are home or away and automate even more things. the bonus is that the speaker on the Hub is actually very good.

The Google Hub has a great screen and form factor. I use it in the bedroom because it does not have a camera so there's no risk on privacy. I love that it dims to almost dark when the bedroom lights are turned off. It has a pretty decent speaker and it connects to all the Nest product seamlessly.

Loving the Google Hub. I mainly purchased to use as an easy way to have a slide show of my pictures but it does so much more than this. I'm able to watch my YouTube TV on this in the kitchen while cooking, listen to music, ask direction, etc. Can't beat the price of this!

This is actually the second one I have gotten. We have one for our kitchen and I loved it so much I grabbed another one for our bedroom. I have to say this is the best Google home device that we have ever bought. I can watch my shows while I cook or right before bed. I highly recommend this product.

I really like having answers right at my command. Recipes weather controls our lights. This is a great product our whole house has google minis in every room. And the hub tops it all off. No walking into dark rooms. Also can control everything from my phone when I’m not home. So cool.

Great way to finally see all those pictures you take with your phone. The ease of use is great; whether it is accessing pictures, listening to music, getting recipes read to you, or viewing cameras/devices you may have linked to your smart home.

Bought this device to watch YouTubeTv in the kitchen. Nice sized screen. Easy to use. Totally happy with it. Fun clock-faces go with my mid century vibe. Timer is an added bonus and the ability to save a recipe from an online source is genius.

First time I did the drive up pick up and I must say this was the “Best Buy” ever lol. I literally ordered my item online and within 30 min it was ready for pickup. I drove there parked in one of the designated spots I followed the instructions to let them know I was there, and it was a super busy night also down pouring and the young man ran out my item within five minutes. It save me the trouble of having to get my toddler in and out the car so that was a win win. I will be using this service again! Side note, you guys should have umbrellas or ponchos for the employees. I felt so bad for the kid. Or maybe a drive up under a tent at the front door once your item is brought to the front. Just a suggestion. Oh and my product the Google nest hub!! I absolutely love it and my toddler even learned how to say “Hey google play YouTube cartoons”

Perfect for my desk and I really like bringing a visual interface to the rest of my smart home! Clean picture that works well and is nice for when I need to access some electronic features at night but don't want to be on my phone or computer.

It’s actually pretty loud, I was considering the Lenovo but once I looked at them both in store this was the clear option for me it’s much larger, clearer, and louder. Nothing wrong with the Lenovo for the price, just saying if you’re on the fence like I was look at them in person it’s a big difference.

This has been such a cool product. I have it set up in my kitchen, streaming the front doorbell, its like I have eyes in the front of the house at all times. It is also great to stream shows and youtube off of. The speakers are also very good quality.

I have the Google Hub on my night stand it is the perfect size to look at pics, watch movies, TV shows, find out directions or how long to work. Plus, with the whole automated system I can turn off the lights and turn on the fan from my bed.
