If you have services like Spotify and Netflix, you can stream them on these while you're in the kitchen, office, etc. They can also control your smart devices like lightbulbs, AC, and other smart devices. You can use google duo (chat) to make calls to other homes, but this device has no camera so there's no picture. For the price, there really should be video chat capability. Still great for home control and listening to music.

I have 2 of these at home and its great! I love being able to call my bedroom home hub from my office home hub, in case my wife is in there. or I can call the kitchen mini or living room mini and its awesome. I also have the nest doorbell and I can totally see who is at the door without having to get up.

U can hear music, watch videos and face to face calls. Pretty cool

Nice to have a screen instead of just a speaker. Can even get video calls.

The only reason I have this is because I got it on super sale ($20 with a nest product purchase (-$80) when it was already on sale for $99). I placed it in my kitchen thinking there may be a time I'd want to use it for something...anything. Basically the only use I get out of it is another speaker in my room for voice commands. It can do some cool things like stream my nest Hello to it however I mainly use my phone for it. If you do a lot of cooking and want YouTube recipes this may work for you but I don't think smart home screens are ready for the world yet.

Love the Google search compared to Alexa. Size is perfect and dims automatically.

Better as compared to Amazon Echo Spot , bigger screen, you can play video on youtube.

Did have problem in setup. My tablet and phone have Microsoft Edge loaded on them. When linking accounts, they would not go into each of the accounts {Hue, Nest, etc.) to finish setup. Found a setting on phone and tablet to "open with Edge". Connected fine after that. Google didn't have any help listed for this problem. Have been seeing the Hub losing connection for some reason. Still looking into cause. Like the way it is connecting to the different devices. Would like to see more integration of some devices, such as viewing camera of Kuna light to show on Hub.

The screen is great, it can display almost anything, from a nest cam to YouTube video.

Google has been around quite some time now and is a at the core of all computer work and I continue to enjoy the work they do and the updates they bring. With a reputation like that I couldn't help feeling drawn to the Google Assistant as my first and I don't see any reason I would replace it. I love learning with it, and I'm very happy to have it as a part of my home
