But it's basically just a Google Home with a built in Chromecast and a display. It works well and is very convenient for controling all of our various smart home devices. The audio isn't as good as the regular Google home but we find it more than sufficient. It's a great little addition to any smart home. I do wish it had continued conversation like the other Google home devices though. Knowing Google that feature will probably come in a future update.

Great Device for the Kitchen!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This device is perfect for a kitchen or other room where you can have information displayed like travel time to work, recipes, Nest camera activity, etc. I can't wait for extras to be added like Netflix, or other streaming services so you can watch things while cooking. I would definitely recommend this for Google Home device users!

You get what you pay for

But the small Hub isn't great for everything; the 7-inch screen is too small to enjoy watching videos and the sound lacks luster; nonetheless, it is a great bedside unit as a secondary or supportive accessory to other home smart products.
