Great product and easy to install. Still working through the "learning" capabilities of the product, but enjoy the design and functionality.

I was debating on getting the nest but after getting it and installing it I noticed the energy saving benefits from it and now I got it set to where it sets itself but from time to time I have to manually set it via iPhone or home and the great thing is it never stops learning. Installation was very easy (make sure u turn off your AC and heater breaker before installing it).

It is an amazing product and being able to use phone or tablet is always a benefit. the way it learns how preferences are then give you a usage report the next day, as well a a monthly summary. I haven't gotten my first electric bill yet but I can see by adjusting it just one degree shows savings when checked daily. it should save more money than my x-wife ever did!

I easily installed this within 15 minutes. I love the features. It informs you of how many hours your air conditioner ran. It learns your patterns and adjusts the thermostat automatically so you don't have to. It seems pricey when I first purchased the item but is well worth the cost.

I only have a furnace (no AC), but I had this setup in 10-15min with only 2 wires. Works great. The schedule interface is fantastic; setup one day and cut and paste the others. AutoAway feature seems to be working well. You're about two or three phone taps away from opening the app and adjusting the thermostat. I like the run-time per day summary feature as well.

The Nest is what it is. A 250$ thermostat. It's easy to use, easy to install, and learns your schedule well with your help. It's auto away is nice as well. If you don't need any of those things, and you're not a techy sort of person this may not be for you. It's use though is nothing to be afraid of. It's a very easily learned product. Overall I love it.

I was afraid not much was going to change once this was installed. I was surprised to see the energy conscious features rolled into the product. No only does it have smart away, it also uses the fan to keep the house cool when it notices cool air still inside the ducts. The estimation for when the temperature will reach your specified level is also very slick.

It was very easy to install and helps reglate the temp in our home.

The setup was very easy. They even include little stickers to mark all the wires so that you don't get lost. The setup is very intuitive and after about a week or so, thermostat learns what temperatures you like and when. I haven't had a bill yet, but will see how much lower it is.

Others have written much more detailed reviews that give you a more granular look at the device but in essence, this thermostat is the best I've ever used. The interface is excellent and the learning features are very intelligent and spot on. The control from anywhere gives me the peace of mind that I'm saving energy costs from wherever in the world I am.

My installer screwed the Nest through the wire! With a new professional, he found the problem and now I love it. The short was almost impossible to figure out but I'm glad we didn't give up. I'd definitely do it myself & only call the pros if the Nest hotline can't troubleshoot.

The nest thermostat is very user friendly and has already saved me money on my monthly utility bill. It takes about a week to learn your schedule, but after that, it's smooth sailing from there. What I especially like about the thermostat is the fact that you can control it wirelessly.

The past 2 months have been very hot months. Hotter than last year and my bill is about $15 cheaper than last years cooler 2 months. Better than no savings at all. I was hoping for about a $40 a month savings - wishful thinking. But, on 100+ degree days this past couple months that's just not possible. I look forward to a couple more months comparing electric bill to last year and a little more tweaking of the programming. Before, I was using a totally manual thermostat. There were many times that I would totally forget to turn the thermostat to 79-80 degrees when leaving the house. Now, the schedule and auto-away of the Nest are definitely help me save. The phone app/browser control is also a great with no trouble. The only features that I wish it had was actually an absolute HOLD option.. to be able to set it and hold it at 75 degrees. (Even though that kind of defeats the purpose of the "learning" of your habits of the nest - I would still like it to be an available function). The problem is - such as on a holiday if you are home during a normal time you would be at work.. it turns itself off and you have to keep manually turning down the temp. Overall, I'm liking it.

Easy to install and is going to save me money on my heat bill

Have had my Nest for a little over a month now and we are absolutely in love with it. It is super simple to program if you have an iPhone just download the app and follow instructions. I love that you can turn it off while away on a trip and when you are coming back turn it on so your house will be nice and cool. We absolutely love our Nest.
