Sleek design, easy to install, learns your habits, great app.

We bought two Nests for our house, one for each floor. The installation was a breeze even though we have no relevant experience. I like the learning feature - within a couple of days our Nests figured out when we want the heat on. It checks the current weather and adjusts itself to raise the temperature appropriately before we get home. I love that you can use the app to control the Nest, get more features and also access very detailed energy usage reports. The unit itself is very intuitive to use and looks good on the wall. It has a motion sensor so it wakes up when you approach it. I can't yet comment on the energy savings but I like the fine grain control over the temperature settings. And being able to adjust the temperature without getting out of bed is priceless :)

Controls the whole house and saves us money easy to install

I upgraded to a Nest Thermostat and found it to be everything people had said and more. In about 30 minutes I had it installed, connected and controlling my comfort. I created a login and dowloaded the app to my phone, ipad and home computer and it was incredibly easy.

I am a 50 some year old female--installed all by myself in 30 min. Great instruction video. As this is in a second home we sometimes rent-fun to look at usage and history on the app.

Energy efficient thermostat, easy to install and good support

The nest has great features to control your heating and cooling on the go or when your too lazy to walk to the thermostat. This has worked great and has lock functions to control unwanted temperature changes in your home. The 7 day review of temperature usage is also a great feature. Easy to install, easy to use, great addition to your home!

Easy to install, easy to use. It's nice to turn the thermostat on and off remotely.

I bought this thermostat for my parents. Installation was pretty straightforward and easy. It replaced an older digital thermostat and wiring was easy. The unit came with a large around cover plate which helped cover up the holes from the older thermostat. It also came with labels to label the wires. The wires fit into push terminals so no need to screw them in. After getting it installed, I powered it on and did the network set up which was also very easy. The whole interface is the round thermostat which you rotate to select different menus and letters where needed (for the wifi SSID and password) and press to select something. Since it's a learning thermostat, I just set a target temperature and let it "learn". The display is large and easy to read which is good for my parents. I'm also able to look at the thermostat and history from my iPhone. It is quite a bit pricey but I think it's worth it.

Great thermostat easy to install easy to use remote access

Easy install. Simple to program. Works very well. Auto-away is very nice feature. Mobile App is very convenient too.

Easy-peasy to install, just took a few minutes. We've saved on power due to raising the temperature (cooling) when we're out of the house. I was able to geek out by accessing on my phone, without the usual frustration that seems to accompany many IOT products.

If you are comparing this to a programmable thermostat, don't. It is a whole different way of cooling and heating your home. This is such a cool product and has reduced our cooling bill in the process. You can even adjust it from your Android or Iphone. It learns your habits and then sends you a monthly email telling you how you did. If you want a thermostat with the cool factor and you don't mind spending some coin on it this is your baby.

Simple Install, Easy Interface, Saves Utility Cost

Great purchase. Installed a little over a month ago and just got my electric bill. August in Virginia is extremely warm and while I've actually cooled both my home and office more than usual - my bills went DOWN! Saved $30 from July bill at home and $110 at the office. They will pay for themselves in just a few months.

Great device that works! Love the wireless functions using the app. It's extremely easy to set up and has worked solid so far! We also really love the design of the device. The auto program features are a bit quirky, but it's really not a problem for us. Price is my only complaint, but I do not regret my purchase!

The Nest Learning Thermostat is a great thermostat. We bought this for my parents as a house warming gift, no pun intended. I installed it for them this Christmas and it was actually easier than I expected with an idiot-proof setup. Long term remains to be seen but, as of now, they are very pleased with it.

We got a Nest as soon as we moved into our new house. Super easy to install. After a couple of weeks it learned out schedule and we rarely have to touch it. The smartphone control is great as we only have the one zone for the whole house and being able to adjust the temperatures orbit getting it of bed is great.

I had been looking at the Nest for a while and finally bit the bullet and bought one. An awesome item and so easy to set up. Looking forward to seeing what the electric bill looks like over the next few months to see if it really was worth it.
