So glad I switched out my old thermostat with this one! Love the fact that I can power up my air conditioner from my phone! Truly a convenience to turn your AC on right after leaving work so when I get home the house is cool and cozy! Highly recommend!

This thermostat is by far the best I have ever used. It's very easy to program and easy to adjust via the Internet, tablet or phone. I like it so much that I bought another one for a family member.

This is the most seamless Thermostat on the market. Easy of use in home and from the app. The App also links the Protect and DropCam all in one. So many customizable features and always a talking piece when people come over. Controls Heat, Fan and AC.

Looked at all the wifi/learning thermostats on the market and went with the Nest! Make sure you have the correct power wire running from your HVAC unit and your good to go! App works great and this thing has saved me the price of admission already!

The iPhone and Android apps for the Nest are incredibly easy to use and great to be able to warm the house back up after returning from a trip. The learning function is incredibly simple. My wife and I adjusted the temp constantly for the first couple weeks, but pretty soon it has learned your schedule. Now I can't remember having to adjust the temp manually in a month. It has staggered temp points that allows the house to drop to 66 at night and gradually warm in the morning as the family gets up. Mine warms to 70 as we get home from work and gradually cools back to the sleeping temp.

I've got two of these thermostats in my home while there is a little learning curve to learn how to get the most out of the Nest, it is pretty easy to get the hang of it and I'm looking forward to the savings. I love the way it looks on the wall and I love being able to control and monitor the temps in my house from anywhere, inside and out. Installation on one of the was a snap, the other took a little more effort due to the e-heat feature. But setup was easy and I highly recommend this to anyone upgrading their thermostat despite the price. I believe the energy savings will be substantial.

Went in easy. Would have liked a simpler way to program just day night rather than programming each day. After a month or so the unit lost it's battery charge and would not charge up on the wall. Nest promised a new unit but could not explain what was wrong with mine. Waiting for the replacement .

We've installed two Nest thermostats two months ago to control both our HVAC units. Temperature control seems better than previous unit. Cant tell yet if impact on utility cost is significant. Enjoy the ability to adjust settings with smart devices.

This thermostat does a wonderful job of managing my household temperature, while allowing me to monitor trends, and combine with apps like IFTTT to interact with other devices in my home. I've not found anything I dislike about this product so far!

My wife gave this to me as a gift and I love it! It was easy to set up by ourselves and great to be able to control the thermostat with our phone! Love the simple look and control.

The only downside is that your husband will discover how much he can save and you will need to invest in several extra layers of clothing/blankets/slippers/gloves to exist inside. Good thing you saved on your heat bill! (Eco friendly though.)

This thermostat has all the features you could possibly need. Installation was simple and took only a few minutes.

I love this product. It's so nice to be able to manage the temperature of the house from my phone. I love that I can come home to a warm house in the middle of the day. Looking forward to this wireless feature this summer with the central air.

Highly recommend this product for people who are looking to have total control over their thermostat in their homes. Very easy to install and comes with a faceplate if you had a larger thermostat in place prior. Easy to program and use.

This is very easy to install and get running. Just set your temperature ranges for heating and cooling. Then adjust the thermostat up and down and it makes a schedule for you. If you are a constant temperature changer, it may take longer or you may end up with some random temperature changes in your schedule. Overall has some really great features.

Nest does almost all what it promises. Personally, I find the auto-schedule function annoying. It just doesn't work well enough. The proximity sensor that is supposed to turn on the display when one approaches the thermostat is highly unreliable; in one in 20 attempts it works but most of the time I have to press the thing to see the display.

This is a thermostat. You are looking at this for two reasons: 1) You want to save money 2) You think it looks great. It does both of these well. The auto-away (once learned...takes a couple weeks) is incredibly accurate and does a great job adjusting the temperature of our home when we leave. Some argue that you could do this manually or even buy a cheaper thermostat and it would do the same thing. This is in theory true- but most people, in practice, would not get the benefits they would get from a nest out of a traditional programmable thermostat. So if you want to do either of the above things....you should buy this.

This is my third unit, completing all the HVAC systems in my home. I have been really satisfied with the easy setup, functionality and ease of use on the previous 2 systems that have been installed for over 2 years. Great product !!

I bought this for the ability to use it from ANYWHERE and it has not disappointed. Laying in the bed, at work, you name it. The schedule feature is way easier to setup from a computer ,dont even bother trying to mess with it on the thermostat. That and the fact that its over priced is why i didn't give it 5 stars ,otherwise l love it.
