At first I was very skeptical about paying this much for a thermostat, but the convenience and useability is unmatched. The initial setup is pretty straight forward and I have no issues installing it myself. It connected to the home wifi and immediately downloaded a software update. I love the fact that I get a usage report every month and this really shows you how much your actually heating/cooing your home. This really helps with you adjusting behaviors to save yourself money. The phone app is pretty cool because you can adjust the thermostat from anywhere, the bed, the gym, anywhere you get to the internet. Its an awesome product, easy to use, looks great and has a certain wow factor. I would recommend it to anyone looking to have better control of home heating and cooling.

This Nest thermostat is extremely easy to install (as long as your house is already wired for a newer thermostat), and has been excellent for temp control via wifi/iPhone.

This WiFi Thermostat is awesome. Its small and very compact and fits within your decor. Very easy to setup and works right away. Give it couple days to learn your habits and it'll know you better then you know yourself.

This thermostat works fantastic and is relatively easy to install. Its pretty amazing how fast it learns your behaviors and adjusts itself. Being able to control it from your phone is really cool to. That being said be warned: if you're married your wife may turn the temperature down to 50 degrees at night without you knowing it, and then the thing thinks that is part of your normal rutine and does that all the time... Regardless, its a great product! They are expensive, but if you've got the money, they are worth every penny.

I always forgot to turn off my heat when leaving the house. With the nest it learned when I wasn't home and would shut it off for me. You can program it if you like, but letting it learn your household only makes it better

Nest is the best in class - the ability to control everything from different devices (smartphone, google chrome browsers, tablet) makes my life easier and more economical. The auto-away function works great and the learning of your habits is good. It might face a few connection issues from time to time, but nothing major.

The NEST thermostat was recommended to us by workers that were putting in our heating/cooling/humid system, and I can already tell that - while expensive - it was absolutely worth the price of admission. And we bought 2!

Whether you are a techie or not, the Nest thermostat is useful for anybody. Easy to install. And I love the ability to change the temp while I am away. I am positive this product will pay itself off in the long run.

The Nest T-Stat is a smarter way to control the climate in my home. I can control it from my phone with an app and after about a month of running its learned my comfort levels and has adjusted itself to meet my needs.

This t-stat was easy to install and setup was a breeze. Control from my phone make it and even better product. Way better than a standard t stat with easy to see display. Will be buying another for my other unit.

Like I said, it's easy to install and use. Walks you through the whole setup. There are a lot of cost saving settings and features to use. The auto scheduling is still in the learning stage and isn't really helpful yet.

Installation of the unit was easy. I'v installed thermostats before but this one had a nice kit and backplate with it to make it look good. My exact type of wiring wasn't covered so I emailed customer service with a picture of the wiring and they responded within one day with a diagram as to how my specific unit should be wired. I've had the Nest installed for a few weeks and it is still learning what we like. One small issue is that the unit detects activity in front of it to determine whether you or home or not. My unit is installed upstairs and we never go up there unless we have company, so the unit tends to think that we are away and sets the temperature to "away mode". I love to additional accessories available for the thermostat and I'll most likely be purchasing the camera soon. My favorite function of the Nest is that I can be laying in bed and decide to lower the temperature simply by picking up my iphone and changing it remotely. I'm not sure how much money I'll be saving but I'll be watching this unit to see how significant the changes in my electric bill might be.

This thermostat is easy to install, easy to use, and easy to sync with your smartphone and wifi connections. I have not owned this long enough in order to determine the savings promise, but assume that it will be true. Would definitely buy again.

Awesome thermostat It learns the temperature you like and keeps it like that. Very easy to use and you can control it from anywhere fron your mobile device. Easy to install as well. It took me less than 10 minutes

The Nest is easy to install, it seems to learn what you want it to do fairly quickly you just need to remember for the first week or so to turn it up and down as you like it. Or it can be programmed as well if you don't want to be fiddling with it for the first week. We are hoping that we will save $$$ on our power bill, but have not yet received a bill since we installed, but i do know it is not running nearly as often as it used to. Very convenient to be able to adjust from your iphone or ipad!

The Nest has been the best purchase we made. It was extremely easy to install. It learns your temperature habits quickly. The best part is the auto-away feature which turns things off when no one is home.

This is by far the best thermostat on the market today. Easy to set up, intuitive, and wi-fi capabilities just make it better. App is easy to use also.

Fit and finish is fantastic, and very easy to use and set up. No issues with it for the last 2 months and I am very happy with the unit. But I am unable to sell it to my family because of the price. When I show them the Nest and how it is used and what it could do, everyone loves it until I get to the price.

I love this thermostat...I actually tried the Honeywell before this and it was not easy to install and never connected to the wifi...the Nest was easy and I set it up in half the time...well worth the money

The Nest Thermostat works like a charm, I can control my AC from anywhere. It even knows when I have left the house and no long need to keep it as cool.
