Bought this to replace a failed programmable thermostat - and replicated the programming on it - really easy to do on the webpage. I'm unsure if the automatic learning does anything when you program it - I have not seen it adjust any of my programs (the documentation says it will not), but I'm wondering if it would suggest some - I might suggest that to Nest. Much more accurate temperature, easy to read and install.

Excellent thermostat to have in the house. I was out of country for couple of weeks after installing and was able monitor and control temperatures remotely without any issues. I highly recommend to buy this for your home.

After replacement of our complete A/C system, the Nest thermostat truly made a noticeable difference in maintaining the home cooler and being extremely energy efficient.

this has been working great in my home now for a few weeks. I suggest getting a few of the nest protects so that it can sense better if you are home or not if you thermostat like many is tucked away in a hallway somewhere

The nest works great, only issue I have is that it seems to lose connectivity often and go offline. I have to re add it to my wifi network. Besides that, works great!!!

I have to be honest, I bought this because of the looks. And I liked the ability to change the temperature via Wi-Fi on the go. It has exceeded my expectations. Installation was a breeze (just make sure it's compatible with your HVAC) and took no more than 5 minutes. Using it is simple and intuitive, you turn it to make your selection and push it to choose.

All my friends had a nest for years before me, so when I got my new house I purchased it and was so excited. Easy to install and use.

From my experience, it is very easy to use and set up. Also the app is very responsive, as soon as you set it to cool or heat it turns right on. On the bad side the geofencing is manual and will not pick up on its own.

I ended up buying 3 one for myself and one for in laws and one for my parents. And we all love the nest it's very easy to install

I'm a totally techie sort. I want to have my whole house wired up and automated. The Nest is great for people like me. I like the auto programming features, but also the ability to make custom schedules easily from my smartphone. I also like that I can check and change the temp from anywhere in the world as long as I'm online. And, it doesn't hurt that my power bill is going down with Nest. All in all, good stuff.

We love the Nest so far. Easy installation. The monthly emails that detail usage help us be more conscious about how much we're using.

We are very pleased with this product. We can check the temperature in the house at any time to assure the furnace has not malfunctioned while we are away. We can also log in (very user friendly) to adjust the thermostat prior to our return. Downloading the product to our computers and phones took only a few minutes. We highly recommend this product.

Directions are very simple. As you remove the cover from your current thermostat, when you see the current colored wires & screws take a close up picture as a reference. You will need it vs. putting little pieces of paper on each wire. This unit will tell you how many hours of air conditioning that you used over a 30 day period. Then how to make adjustments to save when you are away.

Easy to install, works great with the Nest App. I can check and change my thermostat when I'm gone. Sets up easy with my wireless web.

If you've never owned a nest thermostat...you should. Easy to install and uninstall in case you move. Saves you so much money honestly! It paid for itself in a short amount of time for us. Also check with your electric/gas company as some offer money back for switching to more energy efficient options.

Nest did a great job designing the thermostat, it looks great. I couldn't believe how easy it was to install. Make sure you watch the videos and read the instructions (great instructions I must say) before trying to install the thermostat. It didn't take long at all. Unless you have a very complicated cooling and heating system I would hire an electrician, otherwise you can do it all with no problem. I did lots of research before spending the money on Nest. My old thermostat wasn't working properly so I decided to spend a little more and get the nice looking Nest instead. It takes about a week or so to learn your schedule and then you can use the away feature which lowers or rises the temperature to save you money. That works great for families that are always on the go and the house is empty, but if there is someone home all the time then it could be a little tricky, Nest just has to work a little harder to figure out when it can save you money.

Set-up and use couldn’t be easier...and you can see the savings in dollars as you use it and it learns your habits! Great product!

I wasn't terribly happy about the thought of paying $200, but after discussing with my husband and reading all the available reviews, I decided it was worth it...and it it is MORE than worth it! I couldn't be more than happy. I received a $100 rebate from ComEd, $25 from Nicor, and we have seen huge savings from Nicor monthly since installing it. I love how quickly it's learned our habits, and how easy it is to control it remotely. I can't praise it enough - worth every single penny...and more!

We always wanted a thermostat that we can control via wifi. Very easy to install, online support was very helpful for wiring in thermostat.get the free app a lot better then the one you have to pay for.
