I consider myself a techy. I look for cool gadgets all the time. most time its for convenience like my insteon light switches, but rarely does the gadget make my life easier and save me money. That is exactly what the nest has done for me since owning it. every month i see my electricity bill go down. if you like cool stuff and want to save month this is the product for you.

I love this thermostat! Very easy to set up, and it learns on its own, no need to do anything but adjust the temperature for the first few days. I love the away feature and how I can track my energy usage on the app. I highly recommend this product.

We got this 2nd generation to replace a very simple thermostat upstairs at home. Eventually after seeing it working, decided to get another one. One month later, power savings already reflected substantially into my bill. Rough projections indeed indicate that it will pay off by itself in couple of years.

We love our Nest Learning Thermostat. After a week it had learned our patterns for the most part. My wife and I were able to tweak a few things through the app and done. It is by far the easiest programmable thermostat I've ever used. It also has saved us money. Our heating bill is down about 20% after the first month!

This thermostat is perfect, it actually learns more the longer you own it. I would recommend this to everyone.

Adjusting your thermostat from your phone is so much nicer than having to go to the thermostat, especially when you wake up in the middle of the night and find it too hot or cold in the house. Also, the home/away feature is very nice too and will save energy costs.

This is a great thermostat. It's easy to install yourself, it's fun to use, you tend to watch it more so you can set goals to earn more leafs which helps you save money. You are able to set your temperature from anywhere you have an internet connection. I bought one to begin with, now I have replaced all three in my house.

I installed the Nest in about an hour of work. It was easy, and I find that it functions very well. Setting and scheduling were simple, its ability to turn down the temperature automatically when no one is home is outstanding. Excellent product.

The Leaf is so much easier to program than the programmable thermostat it replaced. Even the spouse figured it out instantly. My install was easy as I have a fairly common typical electric everything system, but it has options for all sorts of systems.

At first i was a bit sceptical about a thermostat for $250. Install was easy and you do not need to play arround with "C" wire even tho I have one. It learned my schedule within a week and it does the job just as it suppose to. I do not need to adjust the temp it does it for me. Great addition to the home.

I purchased one after a recommendation from a friend. This has save a ton of energy, it is easy to track and access on line/on my Droid. It looks a lot nicer on my wall than the previous programmable thermostat. So glad I purchased it, I am a huge fan!

This is my 2nd Nest, it just makes life easier and it looks awesome.

My partner and I have been been eyeing this gadget for years, but finally we decided to take the plunge. It is definitely more than what we expected. It is a smart or rather very smart thermostat control. It has its way of learning your habit of how you adjust your thermostat. You can see your usage history and gauge your usage from there. In short, we originally both for upstairs and end up buying for downstairs, too. Really a best buy...
