My wife and I got the Nest Thermostat as a Christmas gift from my parents. I was concerned about it working with a two zone Carrier HVAC system. After doing some online research and going through the Nest compatibility checker we felt comfortable installing the thermostat. Installation was a breeze and the thermostat works fine with our Carrier HVAC system. This is day one and so far so good.

Not much to say. A beginner can install (provided their old system is easy to remove), intuitive to set up and use, and looks very cool. Highly recommended. The box provides all the tools, brackets,screws, and instructions you will need, plus Nest support is very good.

I love my new thermostat. It has learned my routine and i rarely have to change it.

Pairing the supplied instructions with the online video aid made installation a breeze!

awesome purchase when you live in a 2 story home. I recently purchased it because When the weather changes, the temperature in the house does too, and living in a 2 story house my husband and I hated to be going downstairs just to change the temperature, so now we can just do it from our phones!! Absolutely love it!

The product is very easy to install and fun to use.

The thermostat has been great. It was easy for me to set up, both with the wiring and the actual programming set up. I love being able to monitor and set the temperature from anywhere. Units user interface and app are very easy to use and understand. Well worth the money!

Over all a great product. Elegant design, easy to set up, and if you' travel for business or want to cool down or heat up your place before you get home it's ideal. The learning aspect can very much help with electric bills but sometimes it automatically sets for away.

Product works great so far, hard to say how much money has actually been saved after a month and a half.

I had some problem installing it but thanks to google got that figured out. I love the idea of saving money and nest is helping me do that . Thank you.

The thermostat is great and works well. The motion detection feature is great because you dont have to set a schedule. The minor issue i had with it was the set up to wifi. Dont get me wrong the set up is easy and the instructions are ok. The Nest for some reason doesnt accept WPA 2 protection to wifi at first. I found out that when set the wifi and you tell it to forget it after the Nest rejects the wifi with WPA 2 the next time you set it up with the WPA 2 it will take it. Dont know if is a bug but glad I tried the wifi set up multiple times before giving up.

That there was a difference in thermostats? I have installed two Nests, and they are the best. Easy to install and easy to use. Highly recommend!

Sleek design smart programming. Mine is located by guest room so not much traffic walks by so the auto detect function is close to useless for me.

Didn't take long to install, this thermostat replaced the typical round analog thermostat that is installed in most systems. I am able to access the controls anytime thru the Nest App on my iPhone. I am hopeful that over time the $249 investment will pay for itself.

The nest does just as advertised. I really like the way the Nest programs itself.

Now i dont had to worry on setting temps or turn off when im not a home i control from app and house its kept cool all time with out increase energy bill
