I was reluctant to make the "investment", glad I did. Easy to install and connect to the www. Great piece of mind while traveling and being able to adjust remotely. No more getting up in the middle of the night because someone is to hot/cold, just grab the mobile device off the night stand and adjust. Likewise, no more coming home to a cold house after a vacation or weekend away.

I now have two best thermostats in my house. I personally don't use the learning feature because I've fine tuned my temperature preferences to schedules over the past couple years using other thermostats, but the ability to monitor hours of usage further allow me to determine whether that extra one or two degrees of air conditioning are worth the extra run time and electricity.

I would recommend the Nest thermostat-it didn't take long for it to learn my habits and I'm already saving money! The ability to control the dial with my iPhone is great. Perhaps the best part of all- it's a snap to set up-VERY EASY, INTUITIVE, and QUICK.

I only installed a few days ago and it's pretty impressive and easy install.

The Nest was incredibly easy to install and set up. The instructions were easy to follow and getting it connected to my phone was a breeze. It quickly learns patterns and begins adjusting accordingly. If I had to pint out something negative, it would be that it learns TOO quickly and will start adjusting before you figure out what works best for you. It's very cool looking too!

BEFORE THIS THERMOSTAT, USE TO GET UP ANY TIME THE TEMPERATURE DROP OR RISE TO ADJUST THE THERMOSTAT . MANY TIMESI FORGOT IF I LEFT THE TEMPERATURE TO HIGHT OR LOW. NOW I CAN SEE, ADJUST THE TEMPERATURE FROM MOSTLY ANY DEVICE AND FROM ANYWHERE INTERNET IS AVAILABLE. WILL LOOK FORWARD FOR FUTURE DEVICES FROM NEST.

Easy to install and looks great. Once it learns your habits, let it do it's thing. Love the iPhone app and web site as well for usage reports and management.

Debated getting this for a long time and then my nephew told me he had one, so I caved and got one. I am so glad I did. It learns about your habits, tells you how long it takes to cool and heat the house, and sends you monthly reports on its use. Pretty awesome!

So far I have really been enjoying this thermostat. It was really easy to install - I just followed the instructions and was able to get it set up all by myself. The thermostat is simple to use and the design is beautiful! So glad I purchased this!

Easy to install, user friendly. I only wish the smartphone app was more user friendly, and I had an option for a white color instead of black.

Overall, it's been good. My only complaint is the proximity sensor. If the nest is set to "away", either because it's manually set to away or it does it automatically if it doesn't sense movement, it's supposed to switch to "home" when movement is detected and it doesn't. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it since there are cheaper alternatives for a wifi thermostat. This is supposed to be a learning thermostat and it hasn't learned anything.

Love this thermostat and can easily see how it will save me money over time.
