Husband installed Nest, he said it was easy. Looks good and easy to use.

Easy to install. Already saving us money, A really nice feature is auto away. If we forget to turn down the thermostat, it automatically goes into away mode. It would be nice if add ons like lights and smoke detectors were a little less money.

It was such an easy install and wish it would have been done years ago!

This truly is a learning thermostat, after about the first thirty days it would begin to know about what time I got home from work and would adjust the temperature for me before I arrived. It also allows you to adjust the temperature from anywhere online so you can check on it and change it if you forget to lower the temperature when you leave for work.

Excellent fit and finish. Feels like an absolute quality item. Looks so much better than the old thermostat it replaced. I have this on a 2 stage cooling system - works great. IFTTT integration. I hope Nest gets deeper into home automation.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've been watching them for awhile now and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger. The thermostat looks great on my wall, and I like how it automatically turns on when you approach the device. I haven't played around with it a whole lot yet nor had it long enough to notice energy savings. I do think the monthly report that is emailed to you is a bit slim but I maybe need to go digging more to find better reporting. One thing that I have noticed is that once the schedule has learned after the first week or so, it seems difficult to alter the temperature. For example if your schedule is normally that you are away with the heat off, but one day you need to be home, if you manually adjust the heat on it seems to revert to the auto schedule. Again I may just need to use it more so not letting this impact my rating.

Anyone can put them in. The app is great as well. Lots of info on app..You can see how long your units run throughout the week, control them, etc...I bought 3...

This product really works well for me. We can turn on the thermostat from work or on the way home, so when I arrive home, home is always warm. It also turns to auto away mode when you are not at home, so you do not need to worry about forgetting turn off the thermostat. Save lots of Gas. This is a great buy, which I will command to all of my friends.

Very easy install! I installed the first one in about 20 min and the second one in less than 10. A bit expensive but love being able to change and control the temperature from anywhere. The usage reports are pretty interesting as well

The nest is a great product, this is my third. To get the most out of the unit, it should be in a location where it can sense your presence. If its in the corner of the room or an area where people don't generally go, it doesnt know if people are present and it auto sets to "away". I had to set the schedule so that it is a little more effective. But, at the end it is so much easier to set than a regular thermostat, and whats better than staying in your warm bed while you turn on the heater from your phone?
