This is my second one for upstairs. Easy to setup and saves money through smart modelling after your usage. Love it!

I already have two other nests. They have been doing a really good job for the past two years. I'm very satisfied with them. Usage and user interface is great. I love them. Nest just works

I have owned this for about 2 months already and it works great. No issues. Theres nothing like being in bed and not have to get up in the middle of the night to adjust the temp. Love it!!!

It may just be me, but the house seems warmer since switching to the nest. Also, we have gotten a bill since the install and consumption was down even though the temps have dropped.

Ability to control the heating & cooling while not at home is great and the cost savings of doing so are an added plus. The only thing I wish this device had was a better reading of when you're on or off the programed schedule (that you set up over the internet). If you deviate from the schedule, when does the device go back to the programed schedule???

I was looking for a new thermostat because of the one I have was very outdated. I researched a few of these wifi units and was set that the Nest was giving me everything I wanted. Boy was I surprised! This is the greatest thing I've bought in a while. Anyone who wants a great unit they can control with zero issues from the palm of your hand this is for you!

I purchased this as a housewarming gift for a friend and he absolutely loves it! With the crazy weather and temperatures changing from day to day in Michigan this definitely helps!

This product gives me the ability to change my home temperature from anywhere in the world, enough said. It's awesome. Kinda makes me lazy though...my wife will say she's cold and I don't even have to get up from the sofa to adjust the temp :). I've got one unit but in a two story home so I'll be purchasing a second unit eventually to complete the system.

This thermostat may cost a bit up front, but it is definitely worth it. It has learned our schedules and preferences and self customized to save us money on the electric bill! And it has a ton of extra features built in to select from to help save even more. It has been absolutely amazing!

I was on the fence for 2 years due to their costs, but I have now replaced all three thermostats in the house with Nest stats and everyone is happy. Our room temps are more evenly regulated and we have already saved on our first energy bill. Love the energy-use summaries and helpful suggestions to reduce energy consumption. The ability to adjust the thermostats from our iPad is even better as we always forget to adjust the stats after leaving home.

We have been highly impressed with all of best products so far and the ease of set up as well as how it works is just wonderful!

The nest is a fantastic thermostat. That's all there is to it. You first realize you're dealing with something different when you start to open up the box. It's beautifully done, giving you an almost Apple like experience. But as you dig in you begin to realize that the company really cares about their product, and they WANT you to be successful installing it. There are clear , easy to follow instructions and many videos to help you along. They even have a wire compatibility wizard that you can use before you purchase the product to make sure it's compatible with your house! The box even comes with a screwdriver! Installation couldn't have been easier and my nest was powered up within 15 minutes. You have to configure the Nest at the thermostat for your wireless network, so make sure you know what your wireless password is. And because you have to use a scroll wheel to enter the password this process can take awhile (kind of like an old combination lock). But once done the thermostat will immediately begin learning your patterns--and controlling it from your iPhone or iPad is fantastic and ridiculously easy to setup. In fact, my iPad already knew about it when I logged into Nest! Took me awhile to figure out how it pulled off that trick (can you?!) The learning mode is "OK", but the people I know usually end up manually programming it anyway. Most of us don't have nice easy, regular patterns that we follow so your mileage may vary. Bottom line, if you're looking for a simple to use, but highly advanced thermostat. Something you don't need an electrician to install then the Nest is a great product to get. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

The perfect first step into home automation . We are looking to get the smoke detector as well. I wonder what Nest will do next .

I bought the second one. Excellent price. No big difference with the new one. I can control both from my phone from every place. This is the best thermostat that I have it.

We love our Nest - such an awesome product! Easy to use, design is simple and sleek on our wall.

Best thing: I can program this remotely from my phone! I have this upstairs at my house. Worst thing: I can't use this on my downstairs a/c because of the type of a/c I have downstairs. I would love to! This item goes black until you stand in front of it and it lights up. This is also a plus. It acts as almost a night light at night. Another drawback - if you do not have this programmed well, it shuts off if no one is moving (for instance, my upstairs gets pretty hot in the summer with my current program when no one is up there. We need to change the program.) But this could also be a plus for you! :)
