It is so easy to set-up and it really is very helpful to remotely control the temperature from anywhere you are... save energy and money. It learns itself and manages the temps according to your lifestyle... great product.

expensive but worth it so far. our old thermostat was set at 68 for home and the house felt much colder, this is set at 68 and the house is great. based on movement in the house it programed when to run as home or away. love it

Love the nest. It is easy to setup. It works remotely through my phone or iPad. Only change I would make is it needs a remote sensor to pick up temp in other parts of the house. Love the learning it does and knows when youse away.

Buyer beware on this thermostat. It has some some nice features with it and it's awesome to control remotely, but I definitely installed at the wrong time (during a botched release or normal release according to some) and should have read the blogs of problems first. Actually if I had read the problem blogs on their website first it would have scared me off and I would not have purchased this product. Also if I had read more, I would also have known that there is a LARGE list of incompatible routers (INCLUDING MINE). Not only did I have to replace my router, it still didn't work right away due to the release going on and I woke up with the thermostat off and my house below 50 degrees. Although 3 days later of no heat (1 day before I was going to return) the update patch went through and things have worked smoothly ever since. Check the website for compatibility and release schedule before buying.

This thermostat has changed the dynamics of how you manage the temperature inside your home. I can be able to start or stop the thermostat while outside so the home is prepared for us when we return back. Great product.

I installed one for my home and now I can control my heat from anywhere in the country. I plan to buy a few more to install in rental properties due to being able to lock the thermostat to specific temperature ranges.

Best part is how intuitive the remote control is and how easy it is to set the nest to away when your just not going to be home. The schedule helps and over all very happy with the product. Best part, is the cool factor.

The nest unit has fully filled my needs to remotely montior a second home from 700 miles away... installation was easy and if your wiring colors are not to faded is truly fool proof... will be perchasing another soon...

Although a little pricey, this is a feature packed thermostat. The rebates by local energy companies made it much more affordable.

Was the perfect gift for my mom she loves it as is

It's so convenient to have it. I don't need to control temp at the panel any more. Everything is on my phone. I can even use audio to set the temp. Very neat.
