I love all the features and hoe detailed you can set it. I wish the app had a few more things.

The installation was a breeze after watching the installation video on the Nest website. Love the ability to adjust the temperature in the house even when nobody is home to reduce our energy costs. We've already seen a savings on our power bills and looking forward to saving more.

Overall, pretty satisfied with this item. It wasn't as bad as I'd thought in terms of installation and seems to be learning my home heating preferences. It looks really nice on the wall too!

I debated about switching our thermostats out. But once I made the switch it was easy and painless! It learns when you are around and when you are not. It has cut our usage in half!!!!

I first had the original Nest thermostat, and loved it. Then upon purchasing an alarm system, they sold me a thermostat that integrated with their system. Man was I wrong to use that! Nest version 2 is much better than the first, similar in appearance but different under the hood. Much better HVAC control, the airwave technology really helps regulate the central air condenser in the summer months. And the pre-heat/pre-cool features are nice to have, little subtleties to make life at home more comfortable! If you have this, don't sell it.

Install went quickly and was painless. Programming it was a breeze. In our household, we don't have a regular work-week type of schedule, so the learning it does and subsequent savings probably are not as noticeable. However, on a cold day, it is great to be able to take it off of the "Away" mode and get the house warmed up by the time we get home... all done from my phone! The same holds true for our hot summer days with the air conditioner.

This is my second Nest, having moved and leaving the first nest behind with the house. It is easy to install and set up. Several of my friends have bought one after seeing mine. Very Cool!

This device is absolutely great for managing internal climate in home while trying to save dollars on your energy bill. Even though I have a brand new home, and probably wont get as much savings as an older home, I still am happy I purchased this device. The amount of data I get on what I am using regarding electricity definitely helps me be wiser about energy consumption and how to reduce my electric bill. The user interface is intuitive.

I have had this just over a month and it has been a good product so far. I would have given it a 5 but it seems to have some issues staying connected to my wifi at time. If I reboot my router, it doesn't seem to want to find it again and I have to manually reenter the SSID. Other than that it has been great. The training period went as advertised and the ability to control the thermostat while away from home has been great. We went on a long weekend and I checked it after 24 hours using the App and it was on Auto Away. An hour before we got home, I was able to take it off Away and had the house cooled back down to where we like it. I am not sure if it has saved us on any electrical bills at this point, they seem in the expected range. One thing I do like are the extra features like the ability to run the fan once an hour to keep air circulating and to run the A/C a little longer to help reduce the humidity in the house.

Only needs option to run the blower only to reach at user designated humidity value.

This does everything it says it does. I have no problem using additional nest products.

We recently purchased this thermostat and so far are loving it. It's sleek and simple design look great on our wall. Very easy to install. Since we just put it up yesterday, I cannot speak to the effectiveness.

THIS ISTHE FIRST TIME WE PURCHASE A SMART THERMOSTAT AND WE LOVE IT, WE DONT HAVE TO GET UP IF IS TO HOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO CHANGE THE TEMPETURE.

I love this thermostat. Been using it for about a month now and love everything about it. The set up takes about 10 mins. Love that I can change the temperature from my phone.

It took merely 20 min to install and have the Nest completely programmed. The Nest is user friendly, and the smartphone app allows you to manage your energy to the fullest.

My husband installed it in no time, used it as I normally would for a week and the nest now knows the way I like the temp.

Easy to install. Looks great inside your living room or anywhere in your house.

Had a few issues at first on setting up the Nest Thermostat, but it ended up being my fault because I didn't have the wires pushed in all the way into the wall. Once I got the wires readjusted, everything has worked great. For those who enjoy statistics of how much you save on costs, and how to improve your saving, this is a must have. Being able to set your home to away from home, or abroad, is a great thing to have so you don't use as many resources. Uncle got the first generation, I got the second generation, and so far, worth every penny for both of us between the quality and support you receive.

Replaced a very difficult wi-if thermostat for this one. The Nest looks good, and it's super easy to use....my husband installed it himself (his first project ever).
