High Tech For The Home

It learned the family's schedule in a week. From that point it worked! Can't tell how much I might be saving but I'm looking forward to my first energy bill.

HVAC guys don't understand

We purchased three nest for the different zones. Out upstairs one (furthest from the source) had a problem (not getting enough power) with the wall mount part and needed to be replaced.

NEST 2nd Gen

Amazing technology

I have limited do-it-yourself skills and I was not challenged one bit by the install. Setting up the nest is quick and easy and most programming can be done over the web or on your phone via an app. The app is a little clunky to use but it gets the job done. So far I have used a lot less energy simply by nests auto away feature. My work hours swing wildly and with a traditional thermostat it would cool or heat whether I was there or now.
